When people ask what we (as a company) support at Pink Pad, it is with great passion that we support #autism the prevalence of autism in our state is 1 in 21 children being affected according to the pediatric journal of medicine. That’s a lot of children between 3-17 years old who have needs that go above the norm and many parents and teachers affected in trying to support those needs. Here is a picture of a beautiful 4 year old boy who lives with autism. He also has asthma and savant syndrome. He belongs to the owner and founder of Pink Pad. He attends a special school, sees a neurologist every 6 months to a year, and attends ABA therapy every day. His daily needs are far more than that of an a-typical child, and therefore the cost and dedication involved in raising him is taxing. Pink Pads mission is to raise awareness and donate to organizations that support children and their families throughout the tough times of raising children on the spectrum. It’s a beautiful community of people with boundless and endless love for one another. @surfersforautism is one organization we stand behind. They bring the healing power of the ocean to children affected by autism. We believe in always having compassion, faith and hope for those who have bigger obstacles to overcome. We believe that autism is not a disability, but rather an ability. Check out the website we built for Surfers for Autism at www.surfersforautism.org and make a donation today to help us help them. https://www.instagram.com/p/B7_Cfg_A2Al/?igshid=37q1q8rm8njk
