The blues

Even though I have not issue with getting a guy, it is that feeling of inadequacy I feel due to my size.  Before I was always known as the “Pretty for a big girl” chick and I could be a man’s private desire but never the public show piece.  Possibly that is why now in my relationships that I am very reserved and not really into it because honestly I don’t know how to.  I am trying to learn.  The guy I am dating now is very desirable by many women and they are constantly throwing themselves at him.  So why do I feel like there is a possibility that those women could catch his eye?  Would it be that because they are indeed smaller than me that it causes me to feel as though he may indeed be more attracted?  Why does that cause me to believe that I need to constantly feel in competition and starve myself? It is a lose lose situation,  at 26 years old I should have it together right?

Why is it that no matter what size I am, I still feel as though I’m not capable of receiving real love?

Weight loss is truly a journey.  This year has been a year of ups and downs, but I have not allowed my situations to consume me and cause me to go back to my old eating habits.  As soon as I began to feel the snug on my pants I cut the shit out. 

I am an emotional eater.   

I eat when I’m happy, I eat and drink when I’m sad. When I get in a relationship I cook all those yummy southern meals and I must taste it to make sure its good right??  WRONG I need not to.  

I hate that when shit is going on I lose focus of the bigger picture.  I haven’t worked out in the ways that I should have.  

I am back focused now, no more distractions.  

Luckily, I didn’t allow myself to get all the way back in the 270′s...but Seeing 260 on the scale was enough to make me stop the bull shit.  

Approximately 40lbs is what I want to lose by December.  Can it be done?  Absolutely.  

The issue is how bad do I want it.

Good Morning!! I just finished a killer #HIIT workout, it was awesome! Today is my official 1 year life style change after my 6 week clearance from giving birth. I am extremely proud of myself for not giving up on myself even with slipups, postpartum depression, breastfeeding, career change, moving, and a 5 month long 275 lbs plateau!!! I've lost 55lbs total & a ton of inches!!! My belly fat has went down & I'm extremely excited! I'm focused & ready for 2015 with new goals & being more fit!!!! Last year I told myself that I was dropping all that baby weight plus more. I told myself I wanted to be stronger & wiser. I wanted to be better than I was. I must say that I held up my end of the deal. I can do circles around the old me. I'm more muscular, curvier, and wiser. This past year was a year of self reflection & discovery. On 11-12-13 at 2:30 a.m. my water broke at 35 weeks gestation. I was afraid & nervous because I was early but at 2:30 pm, he made his arrival & changed my life for the better.
