I found out that I can upload a number of photos to Tumblr from PC. In any case, it is impossible to upload them all at once, so I'll upload the first part as a test, even though it might be a bit difficult to read. It is a manga in which Bartimaeus continually compares Nathaniel and Ptolemy. I am strongly pro-BartNat, but the main focus is on recreating the relationships in the original book, so there is platonic love but no romance portrayal. I will upload more as soon as the translation is finished. It would be helpful if you could point out where the translation is wrong. I have cut some dialogue and changed some phrases due to word count, so please let me know if you have a more appropriate translation. Thank you!

The end. Thank you for reading!! Well, that’s the gist of it. Are Nathaniel and Ptolemy similar? How did Bartimaeus see them? That’s the theme. The two might have had some similarities, but fundamentally, they’re complete opposites. Even so, Bartimaeus will likely never forget either of them. Hmm, I might come back and add more later. Since I translated everything at once, there might be translation errors, less suitable translations, or spelling mistakes. If you find any mistakes or have suggestions for more appropriate translations, please let me know.

I like this response from Stroud about Bart and Nat relationship.

>Nat and Bart have a rather complex relationship that incorporates both extreme dislike and occasional hatred and a much deeper, stronger and ultimately more fulfilling bond. You can never quite believe a lot of their comments about each other.

The answer is that hatred exists in their relationship, but that they have a bond that is more fulfilling than hatred.

And at another time, Stroud responded that Bart himself was very sorry for Nat's death.

Bartimaeus would never openly admit to respecting or caring for Nat. Yet, at the end of PG, he doesn’t utter the “let me go” demand he’d repeated so often. This is despite how, in AoS, he’d unhesitatingly suggested, “You’d be dead, of course, but I’d save everyone else, honest, and tell them all about your sacrifice.” It’s hard to believe that Bart, who always insisted his own life came first, was merely holding back in the face of death’s danger. It’s reasonable to see it as a gesture of sincerity toward Nat.

How many moments in a lifetime do we have where we have a perfect heart to heart with the other person? I believe that the two of them have achieved a very distorted and at the same time perfect bond in the last. It was only for a brief moment, but it was engraved in them as an everlasting bond.

I think it is a relationship that even the reader does not know, only the two of them know.

Needless to say, they are not romancey. Yes, fanfiction is a mixture of desires and wishes apart from original interpretation.

Thank you for your question! I don't intend to make my fan manga of Stroud work available as downloadable content for purchase, instead I plan to publish everything online for free (basically, the paper book I'll be selling at the event is for people who want it as a collection).　As part of this, I'm publishing them on pixiv. I’ve finished drawing my manga and would love for everyone on Tumblr to read it, but with over 200 pages, translation is tough, and I’m struggling to find a place to post it in an easy-to-read format. Is there an optimal place to publish my work? In the case of a submission site, I would appreciate it if the rules were somewhat looser so that I could upload a variety of things. Or is Google Drive or something better than a submission site? Hmmm🤔 If you know of any, please let me know! Thank you!

I've been starved dry from Bart content since I finished Ring of Solomon, and I had no idea there was such a great amount of fanart! I had simply no idea there was anything much online, as the book seems to have hardly anything if you simply search it other than some reviews! (As you can probably tell already, the sequence is my favourite books series :3) I just wanted to say that you made my day! ^^

Scarlett & Browne! This artwork was done for the cover of a fan book. The main part is not yet completed, though.

This is how it will look in the show. Freeside comes from a word in Neuromancer, but can you pass it off as meaning? (I'm not very good at English.)

By the way, I had interpreted Mallory as a blonde. This is because when I read Notorious in the English version, I did not read the description of Mallory's appearance correctly. So I took the liberty of imagining a blonde that could contrast with Albert. His actual appearance gives the impression that he is quite close to Nathaniel.

Are lanky, black-haired, intellectual, cheeky, self-absorbed, cynical boys in long black coats, like Nathaniel, Mallory (and perhaps Lockwood), an essential part of Stroud’s work? I’m always drawn to characters in this mold.

My friend made a figure of Nathaniel based on my character design. A wonderful surprise gift!! He said he created a 3D model of Nathaniel, printed it on a 3D printer, polished it, and finished it off with a coat of color. What a workmanship! I have nothing but respect for him because I am not good at 3D.

I took this photo side by side with a plush toy of BartNat that I had another friend make for me before and an acrylic stand that I made myself. I'm soooo happy!!
