hey, in honesty would you say the members are all inclusive here? i've been in a lot of rps and although they all have interesting plots, a lot of muses to interact with, etc. there just seems to always be some sort of cliequey-vibe going on and i just don't want to have to deal with that again. so, honestly speaking, how is it for this rp?

i’ll also gladly invite members to speak on this in the replies because i think it’d be so valuable to hear them speak on this as well  ( and not just through me as admin )  but i am personally super happy with the group we’ve got. we aren’t the biggest bunch, but i think that is  exactly  what makes us so excited about welcoming new people into this group. because it’s always so exciting to figure out what these new muses bring, and how they change the dynamic within town. overall, i know people will try to message new members through discord as soon as possible and i also see people throwing around new  &  interesting wanted connections they’ve got constantly. like it definitely doesn’t feel as if muses are “saturated” in terms of connections, like god knows i still have so many ideas that i would love to write in the future. personally, i definitely think we’ve got a lot of love to give and a lot of excitement to share if you’re willing to go along with that. it’s currently december which means it is a little quieter in our ooc as well because so many people are busy, but everyone’s always such a blast to talk to when they’re around  &  you’ll definitely find yourself welcomed with open arms, i genuinely am convinced.

what time do you guys accept?

it differs each acceptance day, so i can’t give you an exact time. but we’ll likely accept tomorrow between  9 and 11pm gmt  if everything goes to plan. that’s usually when both daisy and i can make the time to look over all the apps !  but it definitely won’t be super early, so in case you still want to submit an application, you’ll have some time.

how long have y’all been open?

i’ll have to admit i had to look back on our blog for this, but we’ve officially been open for  a month  right now !  and coincidentally, it is a month dead on, so it’s our month-aversy, i guess. that’s pretty exciting !

can our characters own a business that isn’t on the locations page?

yes, they can !  the businesses on the locations page are just the ones recreated by us to help with worldbuilding, allowing port briar to get some quirk and some npcs. but you’re  absolutely  welcome to create more locations. if you’d like your character to own a business not on the locations page, you’ll have full control in creating the business yourself. including giving it a name, pointing out what location they’ve got in port briar, et cetera. it would be super useful if you could just provide us a bit of information about this in your app, so we know what you’re aiming for !  but you’ve got total freedom here. the only thing we’ll say is that we would rather not see anything that’s super similar to any of our current locations, e.g. not another japanese restaurant but another type of restaurant then is totally fine, you know. and if you have any questions, or wanna chat about it, or are uncertain about something, you’re always welcome to come chat with us. so in short   —   yes, they definitely can  &  you’re allowed to go wild with it.

how active is this rp

so my dear daisy answered this question yesterday, so i’ll link you her response in the source link !  in short, this is a tough question to ask admins  &  we’ve got no clue what kinda activity level you’re looking for, so all we can do is let you know what we’re aiming for / what we’ve noticed so far. generally, we’re an active group that’s already been around for over a month. we’re not the fastest paced group, because our activity rules want to reflect a huge part of the rpc is an adult now and we can’t always be around. so there’s people who write every day, there’s some of us who write a few times a week, and that changes depending on our schedules. we want to be around for a long time  &  really support longevity of plots and connections, rather than enforcing super strict activity rules. and we’ve noticed that it really makes for a dedicated group of writers. so generally, you can expect someone to be around at least every day but how busy the dash gets can really depend on the day, the week, the month !
