It finally finished!

I finally finished my Samurai Jack artwork! It took me 6 hours (8 if you count the 2 hours of lost progress thanks to the painting program crashing).

For this piece, I tried out some new techniques for shading,lighting, and shadows (different from how I usually do things). I also tried to make Jack's pose feel more like a dynamic gesture drawing, and I hope I succeeded with that. Overall, I'm happy with my work!

I still love that you self ship with Jack-even platonically. It gives me courage to post my own self ship stuff with him. Even if the fandom is on the quiet side, seeing you and a handful of others share your love for this precious man makes me feel like I got into it right on time.

Fake Peppino always makes my blood run cold whenever I see him, especially when he's depicted as some sort of unpredictable homunculus freak-thing with a deep fascination to Peppino, and I'm hugely fascinated by him because of this.

Like...

Why does he look like Peppino.

Where did he come from.

What are his intentions with Peppino.

He triggers that uncanny valley fear in me but I love feeling that fear and discomfort upon seeing him for some reason... It's like a weird morbid fascination in a way.

Fake Peppino's just some...thing. And I wish he was real so I can observe his behaviour and biology. There's not a lot of info about him canon-wise and that sucks. I want to know more about him, and I wish to study the hell out of him.

He's a freaky guy and I think he's neat!!!!!

Idk if there's something going in my country/other countries or something but I literally can't use tumblr (without a vpn) anymore.

I open it and ALL or most pictures look like they're loading forever. I have to turn on a vpn in order to see any art. It's been like this for a while
