We live in an age where we feel guilt whenever we have to cut someone off but the reality is that some relationships do need to die, some people do need to be unfollowed and defriended. We aren’t meant to be this tethered to the people in our past. The Internet mandates that we don’t burn bridges and keep everyone around like relics but those expectations are unrealistic and unhealthy. Simply put, we don’t need to know what everyone else is up to. We’re allowed to be choosy about who we surround ourselves with online and in real life, even if it might hurt people’s feelings.

So my friend and I were talking about deep ish like space and exploration and the edge of the universe and mutliverses. He made an analogy that we’re like fish in a tank. Even if we got out of the tank, we couldn’t comprehend what is outside of it. It seemed like a reasonable thought, but without space exploration, how will we know how far our tank reaches? It is more like an ocean, vast and deep with many things to discover. Maybe one day we’ll evolve from our boundaries and grow legs to walk outside of our “ocean.”

FINALLY! Screenshots pretty enough to show off. I am so excited to get this game on the market. I don’t want to say too much yet but it is going to be adorable as hell, and have some subtext about the preservation of our rainforests. Part of the profits from ad-free sales and ad revenue will go towards a environmentalist charity! I am so proud to have made this game and I couldn’t have done it without my co-designer and artist Trent Brew.
