wow i am feeling a bit low today but just half an hour of reading helped me so much rn!!
i mean the book is superb , it's so good, it's better than i expected!!!

soo i crammed 10 days in here, now with all the goals i think i'm finding structure - 馃棟 self help goal, 馃尶 cleaning goal, 馃嵈cooking goal lol and also as for studying i've got a 'study and be ready for exam' goal for surgery which i don't really like and we r currently studying psychiatry so that as well.

wow i'm halfway through the challenge! and i can tell it's helping me tremendously even though i'm not strictly following it.
revised my notes in the morning
passed the exam, in fact i got an a, i could be more sure of my answers but it's okay
made a detailed to do list/schedule for the day and managed to follow it until i decided to have a nap which turned into me waking up at midnight oops
the schedule was to help with the exam stress and it did indeed help!
read a book which synopsis i saw yesterday - 'ella minnow pea' by mark dunn
i should note that i managed to study for this exam all thanks to the goal setting and keeping up with it and doing things in general technique from the 'self-discipline' book by Theodore Bryant
and I'd like to highlight the dbt acronym PLEASE which i use all the time for emotional regulation

coaxed myself to have breakfast despite running late and had regularish meals today
bought some facewash after i think months of not having any and procrastinating on buying it
i potted the plant but smth is up, it's not looking good so i'll try to expose it to sun more
i bought a dresser!! and had to empty my bookshelf to position it all so the books were everywhere. i am pretty satisfied as it's secondhand and for a good price and the colour is just right and now i finally have enough storage space.
yesterday i finally wrote the prominent goals of mine down using the algorithm from the self-discipline book and that's the reason i actually studied today.


also i analysed my entertainment diary (tracking content consumption - watching youtube, tv shows and movies, listening to podcasts, using tumblr, reading fanfiction (reading books is not included)) and realized that watching shows doesn't actually take up that much time. youtube and tumblr on the other hand... i was very surprised to see so clearly how much time i spend on leisure. i'm hoping to decrease the time spent consuming content , ideally to an hour a day.
i also finally decided how to organize my study to do lists - every day i write a to do list on a new piece of paper, on the bottom is written 1 3 7 1 (i'm trying to revise whatever i study in a day , 3 days, a week and a month), once the day is over i migrate uncompleted tasks to tomorrow and write r on top in red ink(meaning repeat/revise). and i put today's list for tomorrow to repeat these topics and tomorrow, then to 3 days from tomorrow then a week then a month -that's where my index cards system comes in handy. and the to do list itself is written according to the self-discipline book's advice - with time needed to complete it and a reward for it written as well.
