quick question: how do applications work? i didn't see this addressed in the FAQ, and i've never done smth like this before ( ˘•ω•˘ ).。oஇ

Applications go up on the 1st of August, there will be an application for each of the roles and from there on, the application you will be told to answer some questions about yourself, your art/ writing and the zine!

The applications will be submitted via a Google Form, and you will need to use your email address so we can email you the results.

hello I realized I have a question after already submitting the interest check:

for writers, once we get assigned to an event and write about it, can we later reuse the idea for a longer fic and post it on ao3? im already thinking about which events to choose and i dont know whether I should take that into consideration, since I have an idea based on an event that i could shorten and write about for the zine if I get assigned it, but id need to know if itd be possible to later reuse & expand on the idea or not

Once the zine is out, you can do whatever you like with what you make! So yes!

for either artist role, would drawing the characters with our personal headcanons be allowed ? im open to drawing more canon compliant versions of them but figured id ask, as this was a thing in a previous pjsk fan project i participated in.

headcanons are ok! The zine is for fun and wont be sold so I have no issues with people doing what they want and having fun with it! Go crazy!

hi!! question: if i were to apply as a contributor and be accepted, would i be able to use old unpublished work for my piece? I have an old unfinished oneshot about LUTF aftermath, I’ve had it since last year but it’s never been completed or posted anywhere (though a few bits have been shared in discord servers/with friends). would I be allowed to use that, or does it have to be a completely fresh piece? no worries if not or if it would be case specific, and ik this is still Very hypothetical since you’re still in interest check, but I thought I’d ask before I forgot :) ty!!!

As long as it's unpublished and not public, it should be ok :D

Are you going to like post a list of the contributor suggestions or try reach out to the people? Or is it just for you so that if those people apply you know to consider them more strongly?

Currently, we're in the interest check to see the number of people who might want to take part, so I have a good idea of numbers and such

However, when the contributor forms are available, you will need to use your email address on the form and provide details such as your Discord and social media accounts so I can contact you if you have been accepted into the zine or not when the forms close.

For the guest contributors' recommendation section on the interest check if people are on there, I may consider reaching out and asking if they'd like to be part of the zine (however, this depends on who applies since I don't want to bother people. it just helps me think about who to consider)

is there a minimum age for applying? or is it just old enough to be able to use tumblr and discord

oh i should put this somewhere thank you for reminding me. The minimum age is 16 as I am 19 and I feel anything lower is a bit odd, and i would not be comfortable with

A zine is typically a fan made magazine, typically containing art, writing both and more!

Most of the zine will be coordinated through Discord, but I am willing to have participants send their contributions through email or DMs if needed
