Imagine some scared, inexperienced demigods on a quest breaking in and using one of the displays as an altar for burnt offerings to Hermes.

One of them is truly convinced Flash is a Hermes kid or an aspect of Hermes, another is more skeptical but thinks Hermes might have Flash as a favorite or a champion, the third doesn't buy any of it but is out of both ideas and fucks to give.

For a moment there it's really not certain whether Hermes is going to laugh or smite them for the hubris of comparing him to a mortal super hero, but in the end he grants them a minor blessing for the road ahead and some cash and ambrosia.

He also may or may not disable the alarms and knick an artifact or two on the way out, just for the principal of the thing. God of Thieves after all.

Whichever Flash is currently the "main" Flash is really fucking confused when he gets the (very much delayed) break in report and finds ashes, an abandoned zippo lighter, and the missing artifact replaced with a clay statue in the shape of a snake.

Alfred Pennyworth Son of Dionysus part 2

Back when Bruce started developing his civilian and vigilante personas Alfred took it upon himself to teach theater cause yes his father is the God of Theater. He has personally used it back in his spy/agent era so he has quite the experience.

When Bruce explains the playboy persona he wants for his civilian identity Alfred finds it hard not to laugh. Bruce, the boy he has come to see as his son, has so much in common with his (adoptive) godly family. His heart filled with warmth every time he saw his ward engage with his domains. He was even more overjoyed when the little fledglings were as dramatic (or even more dramatic) than Bruce himself.

The entire family has shown signs of his domains and have proven to be as feral and chaotic as demigods tend to be. He would have thought he would miss the chaos the camp practically lived on, and for a time he did miss it. Until the bat got himself a bird and the chaos energy just kept growing through the years. The constants fights, pranks, plots and general shenanigans reminded him so much of his first home.

Just as Gothamites are considered a different kind of human bred (by the internet, the science community is still researching) some can be said of the Nature Spirits. Where a non Gothamites nature spirit walks into Gotham they would get sick instantly by the air pollution alone. But like any creature they can evolve to withstand the harsh conditions. Considering the manor has a beautiful garden and a forest nearby Alfred has become friends with the local spirits. This has the benefit of having extra magical security and people willing to snitch on his mortal family whenever they are doing anything he doesn't approve of. The children can keep thinking he's some sort of God (which is hilarious) but he's just resourceful.

The manors garden and greenhouse he uses to connect with his father's agricultural domain but he also plants medicinal and poisonous plants. Mainly used for his family but he does send his fair share of supplies to the camp. Because of how long he has been taking care of the manor's green side the plants have been influenced by his divine presence that they have in a way become sentient. In other words a magical garden as security. Unless the person comes or has the scent of one of the family members they will attack. Unfortunately this includes Thalia Al Ghul. He has made a deal with the water spirits so that any time his family ends in the water they can at least make sure they surface with their face up and they get pushed towards the nearest shore/family member. He pays them handsomely for the assistance.

Since Alfred doesn't really use his money he uses it to send supplies for the camp, set up safe houses/warehouse for demigods, donates to any group that helps nature heal (after thorough research and sends his father and siblings their favorite drinks and nice tea sets and cups. He even sends his own blend of tea, recipes and plant care instructions/advice.

When the youngest member brings home a cat and promptly names them after him he almost cries. He doesn't often ask his father for things and because of this his father has never denied him anything. His father may pretend to not care and everyone may believe it but his children know the truth. He is the God of Theater, he is just that good of an actor and his children are good at seeing when someone is acting. It does help that his request are most often than not reasonable and brings healthy amounts of chaos and amusement to his life. It may also be because he is the longest living son in two thousand years. So when his son asked him to be capable of communicating with his grandson feline he granted his son the ability to communicate with all sorts of feline without a second thought.

Alfred once subtly planned for Damian to bring a wild cat without anyone, not even Damian himself, known he orchestrated the whole thing. When Damian is caught in the act and asked if he is crazy Alfred coughs silently. He is the son of Dionysus. All his children have a little bit of madness but he's a good actor and his father always makes sure his children can control the madness. After all it is their birthright and inherited domain.

Look, I hope for her sake that Thalia has had some time to process her shit show of a life while she was with the Hunters.

But I'm just really convinced that in the Annabeth Wayne verse, seeing Annabeth return to Gotham and, willingly or not, reunite with her family would kick at a bunch of old, barely closed wounds.

She will never get the image of tiny little Annabeth in the alley out of her head. Grey eyes in a dirty, scared face. Tattered pajamas and beat up pink and purple sneakers. A tiny hand wrapping around Luke's knife. This little girl's willingness to go away with complete strangers if only someone will believe her about the monsters thrown in sharp contrast with her fear when Luke asked if she had family.

When she came back to life, that little girl was all grown up, no longer clutching at Thalia's hand for comfort. But Thalia has never forgiven or forgotten.

She never forgave herself for what happened to Jason. Why would she ever forgive Annabeth's family, who had so many more means of protecting her and still so utterly failed?

And don't get me wrong, I love Thalia. But based on her interactions with Percy in The Titan's Curse? I can totally see her deciding to make that Dick Grayson's problem.

Bruce Wayne is an obvious target for her contempt- and boy does she give it to him, without hesitation or second guessing whether she's being fair. Here's one more parent who has failed their demigod kid. The richest man and greatest detective whose daughter took to the streets and begged not to be returned to his home.

But with Dick I feel like it would take on a really personal element because of how similar and yet how different their situations are as Annabeth's adoptive older siblings.

Maybe it's a little bit jealousy, some subconscious fear that if Annabeth "forgives" Dick, she not only won't need Thalia anymore, she won't need Thalia to be her sister anymore.

But a hell of a lot of it is projection, looking at this older sibling who failed to protect their younger sibling and lost them for years, thinking they were dead.

Thalia doesn't stop to acknowledge that Dick was a grown man with his own life living in another city. That he wasn't even in the solar system when Annabeth ran away. That doesn't matter.She stayed for Jason. Jason was her whole life until he wasn't. And she still failed him.

The resentment is familiar and sharp and bitter. Dick failed, she failed, how dare he not do more.

Thalia may try to hide it from Annabeth because she knows Annabeth won't approve, that it would hurt her more than anything. And so much of it is subconscious anyway.

But it's just so fun if Thalia loathes Dick because they both love their sister, Anna Elizabeth Wayne.

Alfred Pennyworth Son of Dionysus.

Okay I know this is gonna be a controversial one but hear me out. A lot about Alfred history/past is unknown and it is often left as a mystery. But if I remember correctly he fought in a war. Now let's say this war was like what happened in WWII in the PJO books which is that it was a demigod war that was also a mortal war but in one.

Either way he fights in the war and decides to retire into a semi peaceful life (demigods life can never be truly peaceful) so he asks his father for advice on how to achieve such a thing. Dionysus then guides him to Gotham City, a city full of madness, addiction, religious ecstasy and more. Since he is the main patron god of the city his son could live a (mostly) peaceful life where his demigod scent would be hidden by the stink of the city and he would have access to many of his father's domains which are essential to a demigod.

Now Pennyworth decides to follow in his mortal family footsteps in serving the Wayne family. This also has the added benefit of providing even more protection and closeness to his fathers domains because the Wayne family are one of the founding families of the city and have plenty of blessings from his father that has passed down for generations.

Years of serving the Wayne family and yet despite living with the world's greatest detectives they have yet to discover his godly parentage.

Every, or almost every child of Dionysus has a drink they are "addicted" to and Alfred is no different. Thankfully his preferred drink is tea which not only is good for your health but also socially acceptable. He does carry packets of instant tea and a flask of iced tea. He doesn't like them as much as real tea but he has them in case he finds himself cut off for whatever reason.

He has a garden in the Wayne grounds where he grows all kinds of foods and vegetables but his favorite and more treasured are the grapes. Grapes which he would use to make a special wine that is served to the Wayne in Galas. This wine has the effect of providing a relaxed state that doesn't take away alertness nor inhibits one's decisions.

Alfred is often found using his abilities to keep the family from falling into insanity. His presence alone helps keep his father's domains away but with the life they lead and the trauma they get from it he genuinely has to work on keeping them as sane as he can. Offering drinks created and brewed by him to heal and maintain sanity has been his main method. Food works too but it isn't quite as effective.

They say Gotham city is the most cursed city in the world and they wouldn't be wrong. What they are missing is the fact that it is also the most blessed city in the world by divine interventions. You see back when Gotham was being built some of the Gods needed a place to hang out and or use as neutral ground that wasn't Olympus. With a dart an a map it landed in a recently built city called Gotham. And thus years, decades and centuries passed by with the Gods using the city as a neutral mortal ground for whatever business or hangouts they had. This had the repercussion of curses and blessing from almost the entire Greek Pantheon cover the city and make it the city that it is today. Some of the Gods and their blessings/curses are as follows:

Dionysus: spread madness that caused the creating of the Joker, Harley, Mad Hatter, etc. Religious ecstasy and ritual madness that made Gotham have the most recorded (and unrecorded) cults in the entire world. He is also at fault for the dramatics of the mortals (theater), alcoholism and addiction.

Ares: Bloodlust, war, anger you name it and he spread it. Gotham is know for having the most wars occur in the span of 10 years. He is also a protector of woman and encourages/blesses the bats and birds on this aspect as well as provide women with the anger and strength to fight for themselves.

Athena: Also a war goddess but she also has a big hand in the education, architecture and had a hand at making the Court of Owls. Who Knows what her intentions where.

Apollo: He and Athena worked together as he is the God of Knowledge. Gotham city is the perhaps one of Apollos favorite cities because that's where he gets to let his darker side out the most. Diseases', chemical warfare the constant hunting of others. He made so many diseases and have improved the immune system of the citizens so much that the phrase "Gothamites are a different species of humans" is actually rather true.

Zeus: He likes being dramatic with his constant rain and the weirdly timed thunder/lighting that makes the bats and birds entrance more dramatic and scary. He is also often there for his law and justice domains.

Hephaestus: With the villains often creating new weapons, contraptions, traps, etc. you can occasionally see him there but he mostly just stays in Wayne's Industries tech department.

Aphrodite: Doomed love, toxic love, lust, sex, fertility you name it. She is everywhere but she also likes it there because despite the city being how it is the Gothamites still love their city and their people.

Thanatos, Hypnos and Nix: The family likes the darkness and ambience the city provides. Hypnos likes the background noise for sleeping and he can spend time with his brother (God of Death, it's Gotham what can I say) and in his mothers deep deep darkness that envelopes the city.

SO MANY GODS! I have many more Gods and how they contribute to the Gotham of today but the list has already gotten quite extensive.

Because of how blessed/cursed the city is whenever a world ending/apocalypse type of situation happens Gotham always finds itself as the last city standing because of how many Gods have been protecting it. They will always be the last city to fall.

Back when Gotham city was being built Dionysus came across the founding families of this new city the Wayne Family, the Kane Family, the Crowne Family, the Cobblepot Family, and the Elliot Family. The families welcomed him thinking he was a man looking to settle down in their new city. Many things happened during this time but the basics are that Dionysus practically claimed the city to be his (to the immortals, the mortals are clueless) and named it Gotham cause he asked if they got ham and the families misinterpreted as a name. Dionysus blessed the city with many if not almost all of his domains.

He blessed the people with the finest wines, orchards and special plants that help the people relax and be happy. It resulted in alcoholism and addiction. At least they had pretty flowers.

He spread the joy of religious ecstasy though somewhere in between his ritual madness got involved and resulted and quite a few cults.

He taught the youth the wonders of theater and how life was more exciting with extreme dramatics. Gothamite culture evolved to be the most dramatic compared to others people city culture.

They say Gotham was cursed from the very beginning, back when it was but a small village. The reality was that it was blessed by it's patron God. Too bad mortals are stupid. At least the Gothamites loves their city and its blessing, they are the only ones that appreciate the city for what it is.

Imagine if Dick manages to hide the fact he is a demigod for most of his life. Like it isn't until he is Nightwing that his family, his DAD learns of this.

The Circus he was born and raised is actually made entirely of demigods both from Greek and Roman sides. It goes around the world performing but also helping demigods and mortal parents get to camp safely.

The children of the circus would always be sent to the camp every summer without fail and after the circus would pick them up.

They have magic user/Hekate children that manipulate the mist, which is why they have never been found out. Because they are a big group and always on the move they can deal with monsters easily.

When Dicks parents die they try to adopt Dick, they even use magic to try to get him but unfortunately a god has intervened. It could be because they're being problematic or because one of the parents prayed to them or offered them to the god as a champion.

So Dicks ends up with Bruce and at the beginning it's rough but they get the hang of things eventually. He becomes Robin and things get even better.

But then summer starts approaching and Dick doesn't know what to do. He wants to go to his second home (his first is the circus, his third is the manor) but Bruce doesn't know what he is and he doesn't know if he can tell him.

Bruce notice his quiet demeanor and after asking Dick cries and talks about the camp and his family from his Greek side. Bruce didn't know he was half Greek but he decides to talk with the circus about this camp. Thankfully Dick didn't tell Bruce that he was a demigod or anything that could imply to it.

The circus magic user use this to their advantage and manipulate the mist so that Bruce and Alfred remember going to the camp and seeing it (but without the whole mythology thing). They genuinely think is a summer camp that has Greek mythology theme and trains them in self defense, which was a plus for Bruce.

Once at camp Chiron advice Dick to not tell him about their world (he still gives him the choice to tell him of course). Dick agrees not to tell him and also silently agrees with himself not to tell this side of the family that his adoptive dad is Batman.

This goes on for years until the Titan war happens and he asks his family, Justice League and friends/teams to help his family.

The entire of the bat family blames Batman, the so-called "world's greatest detective" *mocking voice*.

He's embarrassed.

WRITING PROMPT

"Sally, Paul I'm so glad you got here. Come on in we where about to start the meeting."

Bruce Wayne was known for many things. Billionaire, philanthropist, playboy, himbo, father, serial adopter, etc. What the world didn't know is that he was part of an entire different world.

No it is not the world of vigilantism and modern heroism. Rather he is part of the ancient type of heroism. More specifically Ancient Greek mythology.

Many mortals happen to be parents to the children of the gods and it can be challenging not just for the children but for the parents too.

Unlike many of the parents of said children Bruce was a special case. For one he wasn't related to any of his demigod children. All of them, including his mortal children, were adopted except for his biological son who was mortal.

As Bruce found himself thrust into the life of parenthood + Greek mythology he thought of those parents who didn't have the resources nor any sort of training whether it be combat, CPR, self defense, weapons,etc.

After doing a thorough investigation, planning and coordinating with Chiron he made a group for all parents of the demigods.

Mortal Parents Support Assembly (MPSA)

Which consisted of helping each other and keeping up with the dangers their children faced.

Supplies such as weapons, ambrosia, nectar, armour, first aid kits, drachmas and financial support were the basic starter kit along with a book with all mythology monsters.

A map with safe places one can go in an emergency and places to avoid. Lists of schools that are ADHD, Autism, Dislexia, LGBTQ+, and disability friendly. The group offered a lot and in a way it became a weird little family get together to talk about their children and find support if needed.

Some parents, mostly the single ones or polyamorus ones, would get together and share a home for safety and financial support. Step parents were accepted and welcomed.

Sometimes even the gods would show up either to help, ask for advice or just to have a good time. Though not all of them.

Even parents who are unfortunate to suffer from a curse, like May Castellan, were welcomed. Those who have lost their child, whether by the wars, quest or an unfortunate event were welcomed and offered to assist the grief support meetings.

To be a parent is to be everything your child needs to be able to provide for them. Whether to be a cook, cleaner, doctor, teacher, driver, etc.

But to be a parent to a demigod is to be a warrior, medic, protector, mentor and so much more.

Bruce Wayne was many things, but to the MPSA, he was their hero.

Duke Thomas would like to know which god or goddess he had pissed off to warrant the current situation. After his mother and stepfather were attacked by the Joker, and the whole We Are Robin event, Bruce became his legal guardian/adoptive father. Problem is that he isn't entirely without family, quite the contrary, he has too many family members.

Duke Thomas is a demigod.

Son of Apollo.

One of the few children of Apollo that had survived both The Battle of the Labyrinth and The Battle of Manhattan. Events that are known to have made the Apollo children almost extinct. He also happens to have the rare minor ability to control shadows thanks to being conceived during a solar eclipse. Though being a demigod brought a lot of problems like the one he has right now.

He usually goes to Camp Halfblood for the summer to be with his other side of the family. His mortal parents would make it a trip, go to the beach, visit museums, parks and eventually they would drop him off at camp. It helps that Gotham disguises his scent long enough that monsters don't bother him on his way to camp.

Problem was they weren't there this time. Instead he was with a mortal family that happens to be the best detectives in the world and don't know the concept of privacy even if it hit them in the face. They would probably hit it back if that happened.

Of course Duke had to forget about it and only remember a week before that he hasn't told his adoptive family about any of this. Worst part is that he remembered after having done a double patrol, done finals exams and haven't slept for more than 5 minutes in the last 48 hours. This unfortunately led to him making a terrible choice that at the moment sounded like a great idea. That should have been his warning.

Duke in his panic decided to contact camp but couldn't find a drachma. After tearing his room looking for one he remembered that he lives with rich people now. And rich people has expensive wines. Duke has access to the best offering for a certain God.

After sneaking around and taking some extremely expensive wine in the dead of night he makes his offering, explains the situation and prays for help.

Soon he wakes up from the floor to see the wine is gone and before he can process the thought one of his siblings is talking/screaming while dragging him to one of the living rooms. He doesn't understand anything there saying with how fast they are talking but once he gets inside the room he understands what all the fuss is about.

In front of him is Dionysus talking with Bruce Wayne while drinking diet coke.

"Well if it isn't my nephew. Took you long enough to get here. Aren't you supposed to be a morning person?"

So I have recently been re-entering the Harry Potter fandom (mostly reading fanfiction and checking what's canon and fanon) and I was reading a funny chaotic marauders head canon when I realized something really obvious.

The Marauders are a DND group. You can't tell me I'm wrong though cause I have read about Sirius flirting with Minerva (and occasionally Dumbledore/ it's a head canon he flirts with any and all professors) and that is such a DND thing to do, flirt with EVERYONE and EVERYTHING. Then there is Remus who has lycanthropy. James the popular rich guy and the bloody traitor that is fucking Peter.

I don't know why it took me so long to realize this but now I can't stop thinking about it.
