Red Son Redesign (Bone Kid Au)

(click on the images for better quality lol) lil background on the redesign process for Red Son! since he is with wukong now and wukong's clothing are super bright and colourful and stuff, i thought Red Son should get something colourful too! i also took the purple from his og design from the show, brightened it a little bit and boom, then for contrast and something new, the green was added and those who are helping me on the designs agree that the green looked really good with him!

Heya! I’m Cinna, and I draw sometimes! (I only consider myself sorta mediocre though.) I really like your art, and I was wondering if you could give me any tips on how to draw Rito? (Ritos, Riti? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) I’m struggling with drawing them for a BoTW AU I’m working on. Thank you! =^-^=

I would also like to add some things in text since writing with your finger is an absolute NIGHTMARE

I didn't know whether or not you wanted to know whether to draw specific rito characters like revali or teba, or draw a rito character you yourself created, so I kinda went with the latter HSHFJD

rito necks sort of mesh with the shoulders, and the thickness varies.. 🥄 so for instance, teba's neck is wider than revali's, both because of height and general build.. stares at kass.. kass is simply... kass

the rito are built like a dumbell, essentially HAHFHDH

their beaks also curve a smidge with their faces, although it's not very noticeable... we ignore kass

rito ARMS, dear gods they're the strangest thing, aren't they. in cutscenes I've noticed that the feathers move around almost as if they're fat deposits, and of course they're not but it's STRANGE.... they've got a lil girth to em

rito tails are also highly inclined to move with the winds... very strange, seeing as I view them being a little more robust or sturdy (then again I'd presume bird tails are usually more connected to the body in comparison to rito tails...)

their HANDS, dear gods their hands.. they also have a little girth to them (they taper off toward the ends, I believe), but drawing them with the properties of feathers wouldn't distract too much. a matter of preference, I'd say

their legs bend in a little, similar to the zora but less extreme

Does it require spells to be spoken, written, or thought?

Is it possible for someone to lose their magical abilities?

How do characters’ emotions affect their ability to use magic? Do their emotions affect the magic’s intensity or controllability? 

How does the strength of a person’s magical abilities change as they age?

Can people normally perform any kind of magic or can they only perform things that fall under their specialty? Are their exceptions?

What rules restrict magic use in society?

How do people’s magical abilities impact their career prospects?

What kinds of magic are the most feared or seen as the most powerful? Which are seen as mere jokes?

How do people use magic to help with everyday tasks?

Can magical energy be stored for later use?
