Over the past year, whenever I've hosted something I made one of these extremely deep-fried promo images to accompany the group message I'm sending the details with. Here's a collection of them.

People were hollering about zines on my timeline, so I decided to share a little bit of my personal favourite. (couldn't find the artist active anywhere, but for what it's worth here's her old instagram)

While waiting for the first mushroom to print I had a Chinese pork burger, which while not really an accomplishment, was a long term goal of mine.

Baby's first 3D print, as well as baby's first blender model.
I made a bunch of these as Christmas gifts for my regular anime-night-viewing crew, which turned out to be a far more hubristic undertaking than anticipated.
I'll probably upload the .stl at some point, probably sooner if someone wants to bug me about it.

I darned a big ol' pile of socks that had worn holes in the exact same place.

I posted about this once already, but I made an apples-to-apples-like with the cast of smash bros, the files for which can be downloaded here. It has become a popular feature of video game/movie parties I've hosted or attended since.
I also used a more curated deck for Guess Who over tabletop simulator at one point.

It had been a couple of years since I prepared a new costume for Halloween, so I made Falin's shirt and jacket.
This was almost definitely the biggest undertaking of the year. Each took about a month of picking away at.

The shirt was based on this fantastic PWYW pattern. It was my first time sewing gathers, of which I am particularly proud of the small gathers on the shoulders, as well as attaching closures and inserting sleeves, cuffs, and the collar which I drafted myself from a separate tutorial.
The jacket was modified from this haori tutorial. I was running out of time and patience so the long collar piece is just basted in, and if I were to ever wear it again I want to attach it properly.

So I burnt out on conventions and developing merch a couple of years ago, which unfortunately led to me drawing very little in general over that period of time. I'm trying to get more comfortable with it again and get my muscle memory back, but there's a ton of non-drawing projects I worked on over the past year that I didn't feel a need to share individually, but I'm proud of what I experienced and accomplished all together and wanted to compile here. Firstly, I took an intro to tapestry weaving class and made this Carpet for Rats.

I made MTG-sized cards of all the characters in smash to do party games with, and if you want them too without going through the trouble of formatting them yourself, you can download the deck here.
I also made an artisanal 48-card prompt deck, including such hits as "eats only yellow food" and "good taste in anime," which has been included as well as a couple of blank templates.*
I recommend, rather than mixing up the cards that are submitted, to play openly clockwise from the dealer to promote discussion.
*there's an 8-card and a 9-card template because I didn't know what printer I would be using and I wanted to be generous with the margins

I have no stable income so I'm limited in what I can donate and how often, but I've donated small amounts to this esim fund a couple of times. Pooling resources is a good way to stretch them a little further.

The other day Hind Khoudary said something so heartbreaking in response to being asked about what are Gazans' reactions to news from that day, and she simply said "people here don't know, they don't have access to the outside world".
But we can help change that. You can purchase eSIMs and Mirna's team will distribute them to people in Gaza.
Here are instructions on how to buy eSIMs for Gaza. You should also follow Mirna El Helbawi to know which eSIMs are needed more.
For now, NOMAD, MOGO and SIMLY eSIMs are urgently needed. You can follow the instructions in the post I linked and email the QR code to [email protected]

These Etsy listings are all set to expire by April 7th.
Since I haven't been putting my focus in merchandise lately, I don't have any guarantee when or if they'll be available again, so if there's any designs you like, get 'em while you can.

Also, I took a pattern I had made for a different project and turned it into a nice little set of brushes you can use with Clip Studio Paint! You can download 'em for free here ✨

I put an extremely meticulous process post for the painting I posted last month up on ko-fi. It touches on trying to get back into art after being away for a while, as well as figuring things out as you go. For $1 you can access it, along with The Brushbuddy Papers I published last year.
