Hii popping in to say I think Rory views Swiss as a huge comfort and he really helped her feel welcomed into the pack.

Everybody kind of treated her like she was fragile and that's just not how she is-- she knows how to have fun! She wants to jump from her podium and dance with the others.

Swiss notices this and is the first one to join in on her antics and even encourage her.

I love swissrora can you tell?

Dew: "Then why did you invite me?"

Mountain: "I didn't, I specifically said "don't come with me," then you said, "fuck you Mountain I'll do whatever I want!"

Dew: "That's great, Mountain. Especially considering the fact we've been married for 6 fucking years."

Aether : "Are we fighting or flirting?"

Mountain: "I'm pinning you against a wall with my hand around your neck-"

Dew: "The mouth of a jellyfish is also an anus" smirking.

I'm kind of taking a mental health break at the moment, a lot has happened while I've been gone and I'm stuck in a hole of writers block..

There's some stuff getting chipped away at in my drafts at the moment but I have no idea when I'll post them or if I ever will.

Part 1 of my ghoul designs. Starting off with Rain and Dewdrop ✨

Feel free to ask questions cause I'd gladly share my creative process, it's just that idk where to start :')

Headcanons and explanation about their design and respective elements under the cut:

Water Ghouls

They have thin and small horns that can easily break off. Their horns are meant for display purposes and not for butting heads with other ghouls

They have the thickest and longest tails among the ghouls. Due to this, they are one of the 2 elements that have non-prehensile tails. This does not however stop them from using their tails as a whip for smacking things and other ghouls as a warning

With what they lack in horns and defenses, they make up for being venomous/toxic

Colors = cool colors (red, orange, yellow are rare)

Rain

His tentacle-like hair is affected by his emotions. The stronger the emotion, the more curly it becomes. If he's bored or sad, it goes limp

Tends to drag his tail while he walks, easily trips. On more than one occasion, his packmates accidentally stepped on his tail

Has a venomous barb on his tail

Fire Ghouls

They have goat-like horns that point inward, a fire orb can appear when they use their magic

Wide mouths that have slits on the cheeks. These openings act as a vent to help regulate body temperature

You can tell the maturity of the ghoul by the color of their flames (Blue = young/inexperienced, Red = old). If their flames are green, something is wrong

Colors = ranges from warm colors to black/brown only

Dewdrop

Some water ghoul features carried over after his transition. The gills on his neck act as a replacement for a fire ghoul's mouth vent

Blind eye effect: The fire transition gave his eyes a foggy look. Vision is completely fine but it seems like he's always staring blankly into space

Had his hair cut off days after the transition by Aether and Mountain because they were worried about him. He was ripping locks of his hair from his scalp to calm himself (think of a bird plucking its own feathers)

His hair grew back during Copia's papacy but it now grows unevenly and needs to be constantly fixed/tied back

May I please have some angst? Maybe swiss trying to hide the fact that he is having a panic attack? Maybe Mountain sees through him and helps him? Maybe swiss has never had one that bad before and he can’t stop panicking? Maybe even mountain gets scared because nothing seems to help?

I’m sorry I just really need some swissalps comfort and angst and who writes it better than you. Life’s just been rough lately and I like reading angst to feel better

It starts small; as usual.

Swiss just can’t stop bouncing his leg—but it’s nothing to worry about. It’s often impossible for him to sit still, so that’s nothing out the ordinary.

But then his heart starts to race. His breathing picks up, until he’s all but hyperventilating for no apparent reason. His ears start to ring and his vision blurs, and all Swiss knows is panic.

He was just watching a dumb cooking show on the TV, relaxing on his own in the common room, reclined on the couch. Now the multi ghoul is as tense as a guitar string, with his legs bent and pressed close against his chest as he’s drowning in fear of…nothing in particular.

Mountain was outside, but a few dull thumps of his heart and a strange shadow falling over his mind made him turn on his heel and head back inside. He knows exactly what’s going on.

He also knows that Swiss himself wouldn’t call for him to ask for help, unless it was really bad.

The earth ghoul ends up in the commons in no time, and his eyes lock on Swiss right away. Mountain doubts he’s been noticed—he moves slowly as he comes up and sits on the other end of the couch.

“What’s wrong, my darling?” he asks.

“What? No–nothing is wrong, I’m alright,” Swiss replies—way too fast and too tense to be believable, with his breathing rapid and his smile clearly forced. At least to Mountain; there’s no way of telling if anyone else can see right through him like the earth ghoul can.

“My heart,” he sighs. He really knows Swiss too well for both their good, “it’s okay not to be okay. What do you need?”

The multi ghoul’s breath hitches and his eyes start to sting, “I don’t–don’t know. Can’t think.”

“That’s okay,” Mountain says, smiling softly. His presence alone is calming. “Do you think it’s going to be easier to think if I give you choices?”

Swiss nods. His legs don’t stop shaking and his fidgeting doesn’t cease, either.

“Do you want me close or away?” the earth ghoul asks.

“Close.”

Mountain scoots over.

“Touch or no touch?”

“Touch. Please,” Swiss begs shakily.

“Of course.” His mate lays a hand on his thigh. “Heavy or light touch?”

“Uhm…heavy. Squish me.”

The earth ghoul winks at him before wrapping his arms around Swiss. He truly does squish him as he pulls him into his lap. Swiss adjusts, as much as he can, to curl into as small a ball as possible as his mate holds him.

“Yeah, that’s it,” Mountain mutters, “I’ve got you, my heart, everything’s alright.”

Swiss hides his face in the earth ghoul’s armpit and tries to focus on his steady heartbeat and solid hold. Now Mountain has to wait and see. There’s no way of telling if this will be enough to get Swiss out of the panic attack, or if it’s only going to get worse as his own mind gnaws at him.

The earth ghoul kicks up a low purr and starts to sway gently from side to side. Minutes pass, the cooking show’s participants are still talking on the TV, and the multi ghoul’s breathing finally begins to ease.

“How are you feeling, my heart?” Mountain asks after a while, when the muscles of Swiss’ back under his hands aren’t that hard anymore.

“Better,” he mumbles into his arm.

“I’m glad. Can I get a kiss from my darling?” the earth ghoul asks with a slightly teasing tone. Swiss lifts his head and scoffs—lovingly—before pressing his lips against his mate’s. Mountain huffs, “Hmph–thank you.”

“Thank you,” Swiss counters. “How do you always know what I need?”

“Dunno,” the other shrugs, “guess I’m just that obsessed with you.”

Short, angsty headcanon.

Mountain and Dew had a huge falling out after his elemental transition.

He never exactly told anyone he was going to actually do it, they knew Sister had given Dew the offer. Just not that he actually took it.

Mountain was already feeling betrayed. His pack mates were gone, his Papa was killed and now Dew is suddenly on the brink of death because of a stupid agreement he told nobody about.

He refused to talk or even look at Dew for weeks.

And it utterly broke Dew. He was expecting a good hug and some loving after he was able to actually move his stupid body. Instead, Mountain treated him as if he had the plague and would lock himself up in the greenhouse or in his room. He wouldn't even eat around Dew.

Of course, a year down the line; they both apologized and forgave each other.. but it's still definitely a bad spot in their relationship

Hey also, for the fans who have POTS or medical problems, I'm so sorry they're trying to make you guys pay that much just for a seat.

That is fucking ridiculous to me.

As someone who only discovered ghost through videos and concert footage from other people.. yeah. This "no phones" thing is bs. I'm sorry.

I'm never going to be able to see these guys tour because of ticket prices and the fact they don't come to my state. So seeing them through little clips and videos is the only way I can even get close to seeing them in person. I'm upset and honestly feel dejected. Tobias needs to also understand his fan base is poor themselves and that people who can afford that ridiculous price are lucky (and I'm not mad at you who can) but most just can't and may never be able to.

Not only that-- but the way they're really milking the movie and teasing us with the new guy is starting to get old. The movie merch has had the same photo slapped on every surface they can think of.

I'm sorry for the rant and maybe I sound like a bitch, but I'm heartbroken.

Terzo would just wag his finger at them and be like "Now you two.." with a hand on his hip like a disapproving mother. Meanwhile those two are glaring at each other the whole time, their tails whipping in the air

Terzo used to play favorites with his ghouls so sometimes they'd get jealous and wrestle each other for cuddles from their favorite Papa.

He probably liked seeing them fight for him, we all know he was an attention whore(/pos)

Whoever won got to cuddle that night or watch a movie etc
