oh hi!

gonna be totally honest, I really don’t know! I like to leave the door open for myself if I want to come back to a creative project in the future so it’s definitely not impossible that this blog could pick back up at some point.

however, turns out you don’t really just bounce back from major health issues and immediately recover to your top performance. who knew, right? (not a dig at anyone, I genuinely thought I would just. go back to normal.) so even if I had the motivation in the future, I don’t know if I would have the capacity to maintain this blog in the same way I did before. if I did want to come back at some point, it would probably have to look pretty different and I don’t know if part of me could even like…accept that.

so tldr I dunno! don’t like wait around for me but there’s still a chance I get struck by the undying need to work on this again.

sorry I feel like all I post here are long rambling life updates. here’s some treats

the premise behind this blog that we never really got to was that gordon overwrote the original main characters of the RPG with the science team except for one, who was cursed with self awareness as a side effect of adding self aware AI into their game. so they basically watched all their friends get obliterated and are kinda pissed about it.

here’s a redesign I made of them around the time of the updated intro post!

and here’s an unfinished sprite of them + an unshadowed gordon sprite from the intro post!

thanks for taking an interest in my stuff! im glad people still enjoy this little thing i started all that time ago lol. I still have a lot of love for the story i wanted to tell, even if im not able to finish it.

you can still find me over on @pastebunny if you’re interested in the other stuff I make! everything i do is a whole lot slower now but I still share whatever’s going on in my head sometimes.

this is the only old post that’ll be changing since I needed to fix a few things that were becoming problems for future story beats and were also just bothering me in general. most importantly gordon no longer uses google chrome.

please believe me when I say I didn’t just get bored and decide to abandon this blog. i had to give up a lot of things I took a lot of pride in when I got sick, this blog being one of them. it’s been a really tough year and a half for me, and with my current condition I just physically can’t produce content at the rate and volume this blog requires. i really do want to come back once I get better, but for now I really just need to focus on my health

I think I’ve mentioned my health issues once or twice here before but. basically things have been Not Great lately and I’ve been going through a lot of shitty testing and stuff for it and aaaaaaaa.
