So yesterday was my birthday! I’m officially 22 years old! I’ve done all the celebrating I want, and now I just want to sit and reflect on the last 12 months of my life. I’m not the biggest fan of my birthday. I will celebrate it, but every year they feel bittersweet. I'm grateful for every ended friendship

I wrote another thing, this times it's why I'm grateful for every ended friendship. Go give a quick read and maybe share it if you want?

Not to toot my own horn, but I’m okay at making friends; most of these friends are more like acquaintances, though I hate that word so they’re just friends that I’ll only talk to if I see them. I do end up having some incredibly close friendships though, I always have had at least one person (discounting a few months here and there) in my life that was an incredibly close friend.

If your fic is 1000 words long, you can’t tag it slow burn. It’s not slow burn. That is a matchstick. And this is my personal bias here but if those motherfuckers you’re writing experience significant forward momentum in their relationship in under 5k words, then that is just a regular old burn. Slow burn should be borderline intolerable and a mistake to start reading at 2 in the morning.

my advice for a haunting? real solid 100% foolproof Ghost Advice™? every time something creepy happens, turn in the direction of whatever it was, pause a moment, then slowly lick ur lips and say “…do that again” in ur most seductive voice. the ghost will feel very awkward and leave immediately.
