No one is born as powerful as an oldest daughter who was definitely told as a girl that boys were only rude cause they liked her and a son who looks just like the father he hates and yes this is about Vax’ildan and Vex’ahlia and no I wasn’t rewatching TLOVM what do you mean

Fully believe Callum got regulated to the couch because while Runaan trusts Callum he has an image to uphold. And Ethari just doesn’t give a singular fuck, he trusts Rayla to make good choices but has absolutely zero faith for the first week in Callum, all like “I was a teenage boy once”
Gave up after the first week because their daughter is a grown adult and they’ve watched Callum trip over his words enough to know that he’s certainly not up to no good. Matter of fact they’re pretty sure Callum can barely muster the courage to kiss Rayla in their house.

Loyalty
And why Sevika defines the word. Sevika followed Vander, did the hard work for Silco, and saw hope in Jinx as the face of Zaun. But she wasn't loyal to any of the three of them.
Sevika is loyal to Zaun, not to its leaders. She puts her faith in Zaun's best option, in its greatest hope for an equal footing and the wellbeing of its people. Sevika spends the entirety of the series loyal to the cause, from Act 1 S1 to Act 3 S2.
Now don't get me wrong, I do think she held a fondness for Vander, SIlco and Jinx. Sevika is human and very capable of genuine connection and care for people she spent years following and the small bond she forms with Jinx.
Sevika's allegiance is to the people of Zaun, and that does extend to the leader she chooses to follow. But ultimately her place is fighting for her neighbors, choosing the person who she thinks has the best chance of rallying the city together and earning them the respect, independence, and protection Zaun deserves.
Sevika's place on the council is very well earned, and she's probably the best candidate for it. She's experienced in underhanded tactics and half-assed political moves, she gets what make's people want to rebel because shes done it, and no one on the council could even scrape her ability to handle problem's herself.
Of course that does backfire a bit because she's now the face of Zaun in Piltover. If she's open and firm with her opinions then the people of Zaun are seen as aggressive and impatient, if she employs quiet diplomacy then they'll be seen as incompetent and lacking the intelligence to govern themselves.
Sevika can weather that storm. Because she doubted and left Vander. Because she cleaned up every one of Silco's messes. Because in Jinx's absence she did her damndest to rally Zaun. Sevika fights for the Undercity, and has for roughly 20 years give or take.
Does she have the charisma for politics? Probably not, but she sure as shit has the competency and no-nonsense attitude to provide the people of Zaun with a better future.

Picture this, your Viktor, on the cusp of transforming your entire dystopian city into the perfect version of itself
A hood rat on a hoverboard comes flying out, and throws literal time at you
Fuck that, I personally would not going off into the spiritual abyss with my situationship/brother/deeper third thing that has our souls so deeply intertwined because our destinies are nothing without the other and we are one, I would in fact flip a table
He doesn’t even know Ekko, in his view some crop top time slinging teenager just threw a fuckin’ concept of the universe at him

Part of this fandom is having the time of our lives making lightcannon jokes and serverely missing out on how funny we can make these if Lux and Jinx actually met in a future league series
Like Jinx comes in with all the pre-established lore from Arcane: a city wide war, being the poster of a short lived revolution, the loss of her little sister/daughter figure, faking her death, killing of her entire family, a cult in her city, city was gassed, the drug trade in her city she was a part of and has been permanently altered by, walking away from the cycle of violence in Piltover to find peace
And that’s great but we can make a lot of jokes out of noble life Lux looking at this fucking street rat with half eaten circus tent pants and a half shaved head with a gun
Jinx is all “yeah I’m from Piltover”
And so Lux is like “oh yeah, city of progress that had beef with Noxus and like blew up or something. Y’all like invented hextech and stuff, I’ve seen paintings of the city it seemed like a great place to live”
And Jinx is like “lol no, I lived in a hole in the wall from Zaun. I was, for seven years, part of an organized drug trade. Before that I did small time crime with my sister and brothers, under the eye of our father. Before I left the nation I also burned down my dad’s bar. And I shot and killed my third dad. I faked my death. I was responsible for a prison break. I also killed three of my cities councilors. I was, for many months, actively a terrorist.”
“What the fuck—“
“Oh, and my sister is currently banging the Commander of Piltover.”
“The brutal dictator of Piltover?”
“Is that what they’re calling Caitlyn?”
“Your on a first name basis?”
“Nah, especially not after I killed her mom.”
“What the fuck”
Then she like; whips a crumpled up wanted poster out of her back pocket

The little inkling of a proud smile on Ambessa’s face as she dies is so perfect to me
Ambessa is many things, a warrior, a leader, a Noxian, a manipulator, a strategist, the wolf
But Ambessa puts herself first and foremost as a mother, doing everything she does for her children. Ambessa is defined by legacy, yes, and while it is about the Medarda name there is such a heavy focus for her on her children, and now just Mel.
And at the end of her life she dies happy knowing her child is safe. Mel, herself a master of manipulation and now embracing that violence can be an effective method.
Ambessa can rest easy knowing her daughter is safe; she is secure and strong enough to be the wolf.
Ambessa is so proud when she dies and I love that.

Jayce and Mel’s boinking scene in S1 was overlayed by Viktor doing actual magic in the background, it was ethereal and literal magic so if Vi and Caitlyn don’t get something like that I will indeed backflip into a wall

The disrespect to Mel is crazy guys, “Caitlyn’s hot” this “Sevika step on me” that, “Vi got that muscle memory”, “Jinx could do insane shit to me”, “Jayce has me with his golden retriever himbo energy”, “Oh Viktor there finna be a different reason you can’t walk”, “Ambessa is mommy”
Mel is right there
How do you all sleep on this
We need more people in this fandom who’s sole goal is to promote the Mel Medarda propaganda
I don’t care if she’s dead or hanging on by a thread I want her in my bed

If I had a nickel for every time my favorite ship in one of my top 3 shows was about a boy who's name started with M and ended with Y and a girl who's name started with E, the boy a killer and the girl a thieving outcast working for the villain of S/V3, one of them having had a redemption arc, I'd only have two nickels but it's weird it happened twice

Madi is my favorite character for the sole fact that she consistently steers between the usual child of a hero trope of “I wanna make my own path, I wanna be out of your shadow”
To then immediately come back “bitch I know your out there rebuilding the planet by hand, but holy shit you could at least be home for dinner on time”

Never forget that Lexa telling Madi to tell Clarke life’s about more than just surviving, both of those memories
A. Come from right before Lexa first kissed Clarke “just tell her that and don’t mind that I made out with your mum”
B. “So I just fucked your mum, I’m now dying but anyway tell her”

Never forget that in season 1 the Blake siblings each had a body blunt rotation
Bellamy: sleeps with a few girls in camp, sleeps with Raven
Octavia: kisses Atom, kisses Jasper, does it all with Lincoln

I love the 100 but on every rewatch I remember that from s1-s4 Bellamy was 23 so it continues to hit me that he was a grown ass adult picking beefs with teenagers.

Rewatching the 100 is remembering that the last half of season 2 only happens because Lexa’s sole thought for a couple episodes is “blond sky girl pretty”

The thing about a rewatch of Brooklyn 99 is that you remember how many of Tumblr’s incorrect quotes really come from it
