Animalevolent is going strong lately so here are some good boys, because I'm a dog person at heart. Oscar is a St. Bernard, Noel a German Shepherd, Collins an Irish terrier and Arthur a lurcher (mix of greygound and terrier). John would be a wolf I guess.

Finally sat down and made a handy dandy height chart for the boys. I love all of them sm- it was also a great way to practice different body types!

I went ahead and listened to the Witch's Mark and boy, did it come with a lot of revelations regarding the Butcher.

First off... MID 20S?! DENNIS COLLINS WAS IN HIS MID 20S IN 1923?! I thought this man was in his Mid 40s during Malevolent but you're telling me he's not even out of his 30s?? Noel could be older than him?! My Dollins headcanons have to be reworked a bit, now-

Secondly, he made little twine nooses as calling cards and now I can't help imagining him delicately tying them together and having a little collection of small nooses. This has also led me to headcanon that Dennis likes doing yarn crafts.

Finally, when questioned about his alias, his only explanation is that it "sounds more ominous"??? Oh sweety, you didn't put any thought into it, did you?

Exposing that my main motivation surrounding the creation of the "Division 34" au was actually to push the New York gang into modern day slice of life bs.

I do have actual plot planned for this au tho, I promise. And angst. But that was kinda the original reason that quickly developed an actual storyline later on.

Also, who wants to play spot the differences between the first design sheets and this drawing? Might've developed some new ideas since then-

Division 34

Division 34 of the Magnus Institute is composed of 5 men, all of which are supposedly from an alternate universe in the year 1934. Their god, Nyarlothotep, or the Manager, insists on making this universe as much of a safe haven as he can. Why ours, we have yet to find an answer. The 5 possess a certain "gift." They are incapable of being "marked" by the fears or turned into avatars. They are, however, still capable of fear and thus, they have been noted for their primary fears (Opposed) aa well as the fears they are least affected by (Favored). The Manager has temporarily undone the efforts made by the Eye but the fight for our world is not yet over. The Fears are regrouping and the Manager is only able to do so much.

An au idea that's been rolling around in me brain. It's so far been the basis of a lot of my recent story ideas so figured I'd try solidifying it somewhere.

The Magnus Archives crossover but tbh, it's more set in the world than having a lot to do with the other cast- although there are some small interactions woven in. These notes could be taken from Jonathan Sims perspective if that makes this more amusing.

Also, if anyone has any ideas of what to change in their Favored and Opposed sections, I'd be very interested! Honestly, I want them evened out so trying to avoid duplicates in either section.
