From Under the Rubble... I Write My Story 🌿
I never thought I would write these words… 😔
I never imagined waking up to endless screams,
Running barefoot through smoke and fire,
Searching for my mother among the rubble,
Only to find nothing but silence… a heavy silence telling me that no one will answer me anymore. 💔
In one moment, everything changed.
Our home became a memory, my mother’s embrace became the past,
And my father's face, now absent, is the last thing I hold in my memory.
They’re gone… and left my heart burdened with unspoken grief. 😢
But despite everything, we are still here… trying.
I survived with my younger siblings.
Yes, we survived… but who are we after survival?
Children without warmth, without a roof, with no place to return to.
We were displaced to an unknown place, carrying a bag empty of everything… except pain. 🥀
We slept in the open, waking every morning to a life that holds nothing for us,
But despite everything… we keep trying. 💪
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I write to you today not to cry, but to ask for hope. 🌱
I ask you to be a small light in this vast darkness,
To extend a hand that can mend what the war has broken in us.
Your donation will give my siblings a chance to sleep safely,
It will provide us with food, shelter, and maybe even a new beginning. 💖
✅️Vetted by @gazavetters, my number verified on the list is ( #586 )✅️
Any amount, no matter how small, is big for us
It’s a prayer, it’s love, it’s life. 🌟
In conclusion...
From my heart, and from the hearts of my little siblings,
Thank you to everyone who has donated,
Thank you to everyone who has read,
Thank you to everyone who has shared.
You are the proof that goodness does not die, and that humanity has no boundaries. 💚

💔🇵🇸 My Daughter Was Born Under Bombs — I'm Just Trying to Keep Her Alive
My name is Abdulmajid.
I got married one month before the war. Those were beautiful days — full of hope, love, and simple dreams. I dreamed of a small home, a quiet family, and a baby girl I could hold without fear.
But the war came… Suddenly. Brutally.
My mother was killed. My brother was killed. Children in my family were taken by the bombs. My home was destroyed. And my work stopped completely.
Then… in the middle of this nightmare, my baby girl was born. A tiny soul, innocent, unaware of the war. She cries from hunger, from cold, from the sounds of bombs shaking what’s left of our walls.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Today, I’m a father with almost nothing… Fighting every day to find flour, milk, or even a small meal to feed my child.
Prices are sky-high — a single 25kg bag of flour can cost $800. There is no work. No income. No safety. No stability.
I write this from under siege, hoping my heart will reach yours.
Even $1 can make a difference. It can feed a child, buy milk, or bring a moment of peace. Be the heart that reaches Gaza. Be the hand that saves.
📌 Please share this post. Let our voices be heard — not buried under rubble.

she hasn’t been to earth since 2010 and, depending on how you measure it, she’s been in space her entire life. she wired a dead man’s switch into her body but god won’t let her stay down. she’s the only one allowed to say fuck and she WILL turn this car around. she has PTSD. her blood type is O negative. maybe she shouldn’t have been at the club but she should have been playing for the WNBA. i didn’t say a name but it popped into your head anyway, didn’t it

I’m too indecisive for this, so please help me make this very unimportant decision. I have several podcasts/audio dramas to catch up on and I can’t decide to which I should commit myself right now. Fall semester’s starting soon & I need something to listen to while trudging around my college campus. I’ve included where I’m at & what amount I intend to finish beside each title.

You’re right that Yang couldn’t have been the nyctophobe in the box, based on the date. I suppose his experience seemed to align so well with Manuela’s description of her living battery in MAG 135 that I assumed he was the same man. Part of that may have been because of the involvement of Peter Lukas in Yang’s abduction. I got my wires crossed.
As for the Daedalus problem, I suppose I assumed that once the satellite was decommissioned, the Stratosphere Group would want it brought down immediately. But it is true that satellites which are out of operation are often permitted to continue to orbit for a few years before they are brought down into spacecraft cemeteries like the one described at Point Nemo. So it could have been the Daedalus after all! Triumph at last!
For further elaboration on the Why of this lunatic theory, see the pinned comment on my blog. Sorry for all the trouble! Thank you for helping me sort this out
TMA SPOILERS AHEAD
Folks, I fear I have misremembered something rather important (to me personally) about The Magnus Archives. Am I insane, or was the satellite that crashed into the sea, destroying the ship that Oliver Banks commandeered, the Daedalus? Or at least another one launched by Stratosphere Group? Was this hinted at in the text at all, or did I go way beyond extrapolation and straight (ha!) into the realm of conspiratorial speculation???
I know that the maiden voyage of the Daedalus proceeded as planned and its crew returned to Earth safely, because Kilbride, Chilcott, and Dr. Dominguez (and the nyctophobe in the box) all lived to give their statements to the Institute. But the Daedalus still could have been intact and operational after they left on a smaller vessel, and it could have crashed later. A quick glance at the Wiki confirms that “the station was in operation for two years” but the first batch of astronauts only remained aboard from Sept. 2007 to Jan. 2008.
And yet the entry doesn’t mention the crash. Then again, it also fails to include the statement of the nyctophobe among the episodes listed on the page as references, so that may mean nothing.
I require more information to verify or falsify my hypothesis, so I’m going to relisten to MAG 121, which is Oliver’s statement regarding his… becoming. I’ll be back in half an hour to report my findings unless the sky eats me

@sorbusaucuparia I saw your rb (thanks, btw!) so I went and found the statement of the nyctophobe. It’s MAG 66: “Held In Customs.” Statement of Vincent Yang. His existence is also referenced in passing, as a callous little footnote, in the first Statement given by Dr. Manuela Dominguez (MAG 135: “Dark Matter”).
Also, quick update on this theory: couldn’t have been the Daedalus for timeline reasons, but it could have been another Fear-touched satellite launched by the Stratosphere Group (Simon Fairchild, Maxwell Rayner, & the Lukases).

TL;DR: There’s no definitive evidence contrary to my theory! Thanks to @sorbusaucuparia for helping me piece things together!
I also now have reasoning (if it can be called that) with which to back up this claim, contained under the cut.
Based on Martin’s research, as referenced in the post-Statement segment of MAG 57, the Daedalus would have been decommissioned at the latest in the autumn of 2009. BUT it turns out that decommissioned satellites often remain in a gradually decaying orbit around Earth for years or decades (though the standard, according to NOAA & NASA, has been 25 years until recently). This means that the Daedalus COULD have crashed down at the appropriate time for the events of Oliver’s statement in MAG 121, though it would be somewhat unusual. Oliver’s apotheosis occurred sometime between 2015 and 2018.
Also, Simon Fairchild’s company Pinnacle Aerospace, a part of the Fear-operated consortium known as Stratosphere Group (other investors include the Lukases & Maxwell Rayner), may have built & launched other satellites before Daedalus. It would have been wise of them to engage in some practice runs before they went for ward with their grand plan.
Ergo, Daedalus or not, Stratosphere Group may have made the satellite that fell onto Banks & the crew he traveled with to Point Nemo. Why? It was the will of the Web, of course. Oliver Banks (for whatever reason) was the one chosen to wake the Archivist from his slumber. In MAG 121, Banks says the following: “You know better than anyone how the spiders can get into your head. Easier to just do what she asks.”
Who is she— Annabelle Cane or the Mother of Puppets? Is there a meaningful difference anymore? Either way, we know the Web wanted to bring about the Watcher’s Crown; for that, they needed the Archivist; for that, they seemingly needed the Statement of an avatar of Terminus. To make that happen, might the Web not have helped spin the cords connecting three other Fears whose operatives, by their nature, generally tend to work in isolation and secrecy? Is collaboration not against their nature? Would it not have taken an intervention by the mistress of manipulation to help them coalesce around such a massive undertaking???
It’s a bit of a stretch, perhaps, but Jonny is generally very deliberate with his writing. He often engages in a kind of setup and payoff that is almost too subtle to detect on first pass through. Or perhaps I’m simply hanging on by a thread to a far-fetched headcanon because I think it’s neat. You decide.
Edit: there is no Statement given by the nyctophobe. I had him confused with Vincent Yang of MAG 66.

I'd imagine they tried defibrillation already. Mum, I don't know how else to say this. he's dead, we need to drop this. well yeah, one of Terminus's children probably could, but his ex isn't strong enough with it. hang on, what? no, Mum, he's dead as well. middle of the fucking pacific ocean. satellite or something fell on him, he's drowned at the very least. no I can't "pull him out." excuse me, you want me to--a row boat and a fishing pole?

Finally finished Season 1 of Magnus Protocol! I know I’m incredibly late. I was following the release schedule up until the finale, at which point I simply…. Couldn’t.
Slight spoiler: I stopped after Gwen saw the Archivist on the train and couldn’t get on or contact Sam to let him know. I’m uncertain as to why it bothered me so much.
That reaction is almost on par with how long I put off listening to Season 5 of TMA. That took me about a year, during which I relistened to seasons 1-4 twice, I think?
Anyway, I might take a day before pressing on to Season 2. But I liked Season 1 alright, and I really enjoyed the Q+A. Took me back to my early days of listening to TMA.
