Ya know what would be interesting

After theyre free and can take a bit of a breather, ya know how theres typically a 'We must give our princesses an update where weve been/whats happening' moment in fics?

While Ravio tries to get to Hilda , what if Shadow goes and reports to Midna?

So Four's placement in the timeline is a bit messy, bc the Four Sword series games are all over the place timeline-wise. However, I'm going based off of the placement of the FSA game, since that's the latest and also doesn't destroy anything in the timeline by placing it there. FSA is post TP, and according to Hyrule Historia, it is several hundred years after it.

Sadly, this means Midna is very much not alive by now.

Shadow is also not a Twili, Twili folk are light dwellers who were banished to the Twilight Realm, and seemingly eventually accepted the magic to become their own folks over the many many (many) years. Meanwhile Shadow is a Shadow/Dark Dweller who, just before his death, accepted the Light.

In TP, Midna describes the Crystal Twilight uses to transform as "definitely different than our tribe's shadow magic" and also as "evil magic". This is the kind of dark magic that Zant was gifted to by Ganondorf. This is also why Shadow's "Twili" Marks on his tunic are red instead of blue.

Anyway tldr; Shadow is several hundred years after Midna, not a Twili, so unfortunately, no Midna 😔 (I plan to have a vague mention of the Twili folk way later in the story though)

All of my old LU fics have been appropriately changed to the new Linked Universe fandom tag! Yay! We finally have one! We can stop flooding the gen LoZ fandom tag!

... I just wish it was automatic if there's character tags of "(linked universe)". That'd make the shift a lot easier...

Would shadow wars recognise Ravio at all, since Ravio is a playable character in Hyrule Warriors ?

Post-LU Ravio did indeed fight in HW! However, Dark Wars does not recognize him, as Ravio was not part of the fight against the Dark Links. It's kinda following the game in which dlc characters/fully optional characters aren't playable in Legend Mode (basically the main game/story mode). Wars tried to keep as many unrelated people as possible out of the main battles. Ravio only fought in non major (story) battles. This means neither recognize the other, as this isn't post LU Ravio either.

Hahahaha thank you!! I'm glad this silly au makes you chew tables, I hope the tables are tasty! Good news is there IS actually a multi chap fic of this in the works, it's just not published yet since I'm building a backlog.

I fell out of LU for... 7 months? And I got this idea roughly a month before that, so sadly there's not much completed stuff for it. I'm back to working on it though! Completed a whole chapter when I came back, and I just outlined majority of the fic. I'm really bad at estimating expected word count, but w only 2 chapters completed and only 1.4kish of another scene written, the total word count is over 8k atm! And I'm about to try writing the next chapter!

Probably no comics of this anytime soon though, I already have like 3 different DB comic wips I'm working on...

But here's an old wip from Nov of Shadow vs Dark Wars! Unfortunately I didn't finish much of it, but I'm considering redrawing it sometime

Realized I forgot to post this here! Decided to color it. This is fanart of @rozzingit’s Vegeta and Bulma from their fic Lachrimae, where present timeline Trunks escapes his now destroyed timeline to the far past in Planet Vegeta! Though these designs are just how I imagined them while reading the fic. Both Bulma and Vegeta are teens rn and had a wonderful (terrible) first meeting! I like to imagine because he stole grown Trunks’ clothes, literally everything is oversized. It’d also be kinda funny if everything didn’t really match that well since he grabbed whatever haha. Really fun fic that I want to draw more for in the future if my hand allows me!
