i’m not who i want to be but im also not who i used to be. being in the void, tip toeing around the threshold is exhausting. but then again, if there isn’t the consistent and sincere effort of moving towards who i want to be; even 1% more everyday, then the void becomes a black hole, swirling, swallowing, demanding and perishing. so, i tip toe around the threshold, dip my toes beyond and then recede because today i dont feel ready. but one day, ill open my eyes and i’ll be standing outside, my past life gawking at me. one day i will cross the threshold without knowing and maybe for some years ill be who i want to be; until a new threshold demands me.

You accuse us that we don’t care about Kashmiri muslims when we’ve never once denied their right to live in Kashmir while you constantly deny, subjugate, ridicule and subvert the Hindus and their rights to Kashmir as their native and historical land. Do you think the rest of the Hindus from all over India don’t have any claim on Kashmir? When millions have flocked to ancient hindu pilgrimages like Amarnath Yatra in Kashmir and we have sacred temples and sites that were destroyed by Islamic invaders. Haven’t we lost enough to Pakistan and Bangladesh? Kashmir’s hindu and Indian past cannot be denied anymore and if you see this as us infringing on the rights of “local Kashmiri muslims” then you’re the problem because giving rights to others doesn’t mean less rights for someone else. It’s not pie.
