who: open when: first week of winter break where: chalet a
If you asked Sebastian, he absolutely wouldnât say that everyone in his chalet were people he wouldâve picked, but here he was with no choice. It was hard not to be annoyed by Sloane presence, but he was putting on a strong face. It was moments like these that he managed to escape when he could really relax. Theyâd invited anyone they knew over for a small gathering, which meant there were a random bunch of people, but Sebastian loved a party.Â
Heâd been sat down in front of the couch for a while, when the people he was talking to got up to go grab a drink. He spotted someone across the circle. âYou look like a person who wants to play truth or dare with me- seen as everyoneâs left,â he smirked.Â

âgreat, amazing, just who i wanted to see,â anya beams, hands in their pockets. âi have a hypothetical for you.â like an annoying, modern-day socrates. wearing more layers. âsay, hypothetically,â she begins, pronouncing each syllable in the word hypothetically with deliberate care, to really drill home the point that this was a question of a hypothetical nature. âi knocked over a fucking vase. whatâs the best way of not getting found out? hypothetically.â
-
Seb stopped in his tracks as he was approached. âShould I be worried?â he joked, listening to what she was saying with interest as he nodded his head. âHypothetically, yeah?â he folded his arms over, knowing full well what was going on here. He let out a laugh. âYou got any glue?â he grinned, before shaking his head. âDonât matter, theyâll sort it out. Who cares, itâs a vase.âÂ

the steam rising from the pool almost cloaks her as she sits on the edge of it, feet dragging back and forth in the warm water. sheâs done with skiing for the day, sheâs decided, and now sheâs in desperate need of some r & r. sure, so this place wasnât gstaad, or st. moritz or even verbier, but it would do in a pinch. especially considering the fact that it let her escape the astor household christmas ordeal a week early. âhey,â she waves at the figure approaching, shifting slightly to make room on the ledge. âjoin me? the viewâs great. iâve seen two people topple over on the slopes already.â
Sebastian spotted Heni and made his way over with a smile. âPeople watching, seems like this is becoming a habit of ours,â he grinned, sitting down next to her. âAre you not heading out there with the rest of us? Or is this too entertaining for you?â he questioned, his eyes scanning the view in front of him, watching a couple of people skiing around some beginners, letting out a small laugh when one of them fell. âOoh, maybe youâre right, this is the place to be.âÂ

who: open when: first day of the winter break trip where: on the ~ slopes ~
Nate had his board propped up, arms crossed on top of it as he leaned his weight into it, a seemingly out of place scowl settled onto his face. Though, for anyone who knew who he was rooming with - and his history with said student and parent who was apparently mostly paying for this trip - it made perfect sense. âThis whole trip is bullshit,â he said when he caught other student caught his eye. âTheyâre just bribing us to shut the fuck up about some chick missing and someone else leaking personal videos. Bullshit,â he repeated.
-
Sebastian wasnât usually one for listening into peopleâs conversations, he cared too much about what he was saying or doing to be bothered by anyone else, however when he overheard Nateâs statement, it immediately got his back up, and he couldnât help but approach the other. âYou wanna cut the attitude? My sister fucking missing, sheâs not some chick, sheâs a person and a lot of people give a shit about her, and you need watch your mouth.âÂ

jacqui-velazquezâ:
who: @sebmorrisonâ when: first week of winter break where: seb and sloaneâs room
Jacqui was looking for Sloane, checking the most logical place - her room. They rapped on the door, waiting for it to swing open with the familiar blonde head, fidgeting in place as they did so. Their patience level was not at the highest at the moment - and theyâd have to deal with waiting a little longer, because the door swung open to a face that was more vaguely familiar than the one she was looking for. âYouâre not Sloane,â Jacqui said, forehead wrinkling as they looked up him. âYou now where she is?âÂ
-
Seb had just got back from skiing. Heâd expected the knock on the door to be Leaky or Dante or one of his friends, they were all meant to be hanging out at some point, but when he flung the door open his face dropped slightly. âAnd thank fuck Iâm not,â he leaned against the door frame. âProbably out there contemplating how bad her life is, if you hear wailing, itâs probably her. Sheâs not crying, sheâs just constantly moaning about everything. Anything I can help you with?â

@sebmorrison when: sometime week 1 where: by the fireplaces in the chalets
sheâd already been out in the snow, and frankly it froze her toes off. they never got used to the cold, and so not soon after alethea opted for a huge blanket by the fireplace, with a book in their lap. at least there they could pretend to be enjoying the great outdoors by looking at them. she had thought she would have the place to herself, it seemed like people were either all out or sequestered to their rooms, so they were surprised when another joined them on the adjacent couch, and was even more surprised to look up to see sebastian. âif iâve learned anything these past few years,â she says a bit absentmindedly, âis that i am not a cold weather kid.â they gave a low chuckle before leaning back into the couch to observe him. âwhat are you up to today? taking advantage ofâŚwhatever this is?â they indicated with their hands, to this whole experience.Â
-
For as long as he could remember he loved Ski Breaks. The log fires, the mountains, the partying, having fun with friends, the late night and early mornings, everything about it was the best. The only part of this trip that he wasnât a big fan of was the fact that he was rooming with his sister, the one that he wasnât a fan of. It meant that he often found himself prolonging going anywhere near their room until he had no choice but to, which is why he was out here on the couch.Â
âOh come on? Really? Why not?â he leaned forward in his seat, observing the person sitting opposite him. âWhatâs wrong with the cold weather- and donât get me wrong, I love when itâs hot, but thereâs something about skiing that you canât beat.â He leaned back again, running a hand through his hair. âAbsolutely, heading out on the slopes in a bit, what about you?â

LOCATION: Sloane and Sebastianâs shared room STATUS: Closed for @sebmorrisonâ
It didnât take long for Sloane to have her fill out on the slopes. She wasnât exactly a particularly active person and there was only so much she could take from the snowboard bros. Heading back early and changing into clean sweats she decided to enjoy having the space to herself. Sebastian would probably be out for a few more hours. Sheâs quick to light a joint and pull out the flask she had brought but was most definitely not allowed to have filled with her favorite whiskey. It was on Ogden for not checking bags. After removing the batteries in the smoke alarm to not set anything off, she scrolls on her phone to find a comfort film to watch as she settles in. She still had some Oscar noms to check out anyway. The door opens and it startles Sloane until she sees who it is. âUgh. Jumpscare.â Is how she greets her twin. âIf I give you some, will you not be a pain in my dick narc for once in your life?â
-
Sebastian had fond memories of skiing, he loved the annual Morrisonâs trip, it was always filled with fun and laughter, and when he wasnât around Sloane that was easy to do. In fact, heâd been planning on avoiding his twin on this trip, so you can imagine his surprise when he was informed that he was rooming with her. They hadnât had to spend this much time in the same four walls in years, and he almost rang his parents to insist that she gets moved, but he knew that they were busy. Anyway, he wasnât going to be hanging around their room much, heâd much rather be out.Â
He had hoped that sheâd have the same plan, but when he opened the door to see her sitting there he was disappointed. He rolled his eyes as he walked in, throwing his coat over a chair, âHidden away as usual Sloane? Did people have enough of you?â he commented, catching her with the joint and alcohol. Usually, heâd get her caught for it, but he could only imagine that would mean more problems for him, and at the end of the day, people didnât need more reason to talk about them negatively. âIâm not doing this for you- Iâm doing it for me, because I donât want you to ruin us anymore than you already have.â He took the flask from her, not wanting to grab the joint for fear of having to get too close to her bad vibes.Â

âThe best plan, my man, is when there is none.â He replies. Dante spots two pledges, and snaps his fingers. The two young men trip over themselves to get to him. An evil snicker comes out of him as he eyes both pledges. âDouglas, Cabot, you two have an extra assignment.â He wraps both arms around the two of them, pulling them close. âYou are mine and Morrisonâs bitches for the night. If you can impress us, I will wave tonightâs challenge for you.â He winks at Sebastian. The pledgesâ faces fall for a moment before they both plaster a smile. It was so satisfying to have this much power.
.
âYouâre not wrong,â he agreed, watching as Dante spotted the pledges. Seb folded his arms over listening as they were given their âassignmentsâ for the night. He wasnât going to complain if he got something out of it. âItâs almost too good to turn down,â he told the pledges. âIn fact, youâd be idiot to turn that offer down.â Sebastian had power like this all his life, it wasnât unfamiliar, people would drop everything for him; money and the Morrison name helped with that, but it was nice to have a reminder every now and then. âIâm taking that as a yes,â he smirked over at Dante. âI need another drink, pledge.âÂ

Sassa couldnât help the smirk that spread across her face in response to his teasing, half because she wanted to give into it, lapse back to that type of relationship, and half because she couldnât actually believe he was trying this right now. âHowâd you know?â she asked, almost sweet as she cooed the question at him, hiding the sarcasm deep beneath the layers of her words.Â
The sweetness faded away as Sassa pondered over his next question, her lips pursing out as her eyes considered him, the way he ducked his head rather than looking at her. She smoothed her expression out as he looked back, shrugging up her shoulders. âIâm not the one who pulled away, Sebastian,â Sassa said, holding his gaze for a beat longer than necessary before speaking again. âIâm fine,â she finally answered, not elaborating any more than that.
.
âBecause we had something good going,â until he avoided her. âAnd how could you not miss it... or me,â he shrugged, knowing that that his words were true, but were covered with a sarcastic attitude so carried no real weight at all. He almost felt sorry for doing it, Greer wasnât here right now, it wasnât like anyone could have a go at him for getting re-involved, and he desperately wanted to be, no matter how much his exterior pretended he didnât.Â
He looked away into the distance, knowing that was the truth, wanting to deny it, because that was easier than admitting that heâd been in the wrong. Heâd been pulled in two directions, towards his loyalty for Greer and towards Sassa, but it seemed like he hadnât come out on top with his decision. His eyes fell on hers again, watching her gaze, knowing there was a lot left unsaid in that look. âI got busy,â he told her. A lie. âCollege is a lot- Iâm sure you understand... but Iâm glad youâre fine.âÂ

âBe nice to your brain, I think you might be overworking it,â she retorted with a faux pout of concern. It was only then that she realized the stitch in her side had worked itself out, so she straightened even further, crossing her arms tightly over her chest. While she couldnât claim to be close to Sloane, she still felt a need to defend her. âYou donât deserve her. I have four brothers and I couldnât imagine ever talking about them like that. I guess⌠sorry about that empty cavity where your heart should be.â
.
âFunny,â he replied, folding over his arms. He wasnât about to be offended by something that Nat said, especially when she was the one in the fault here. âI donât deserve?â he scoffed, shaking his head. âYou obviously had a different family life than us, she would talk about me exactly the same way and Iâm sure youâre not berating her about it. Sheâs one with the empty cavity where her heart should be, she hardly give shit that our sisters gone missing, thatâs worse than anything I could do.âÂ

IN CHARACTER TASK 004: INTERROGATIONS
Mentioned:
Greer Morrison @n8-shawâ @nataliavegaâ @defavoriseâ
It was strange to be at College without Greer. In fact, it was weird to be anywhere without Greer. He missed her. It was especially hard when he had to sit in front of the police, concerned that they could turn on him at any minute, to help them find his sister. It felt like theyâd got nowhere, like they were going round in circles, and he was tired, but he knew that it wasnât going to end any time soon and he knew that maybe if he helped, they might be one step closer to getting answers.
Sebastian stepped into the room. If he was worried, he didnât show it, in fact, he seemed calm, as he sat down, providing the agents with a soft smile, one that didnât say Iâm glad my sisters missing, but instead I miss my sister, but Iâm keeping my head up. He knew there was still a lot to say after the last interview, he also knew how to charm and manipulate a room, a talent most Morrisonâs had. He was certain that his parents had managed the same when theyâd been interviewed, and if Greer was in the same situation as him, sheâd be able to too. He couldnât say the same for Sloane or his cousin.
âThank you for coming in to talk to us today Sebastian, Iâm Agent Choi, and this Agent Brown and Murray,â the man sat opposite Seb on the left spoke, gesturing towards the man sat next to him and then the woman at the back of the room. It all seemed a bit surreal, like a nightmare, there were FBI agents interviewing him about his sisterâs disappearance, his sister who he was meant to know like the back of his hand, his sister who he trusted, and she was gone, and this was a bleak reminder.
He nodded a greeting to all of them, âIâm glad to have you here- as are my family Iâm sure,â he told them. It would be strange to say that it was nice to meet them because it wasnât really, but he knew that the case was now in the best hands.
âDo you want a drink or anything before we started?â
âIâve just had a coffee, so Iâm all set,â he replied, sitting forward in his chair, interested at what they were about to ask him.
âGreat, letâs talk about your time capsule video, give us some context for the clip that was leaked.â
Sebastian knew how it might look. He knew that all of the videos had been edited to make the students look guilty or paint them in a bad light. He also thought his wasnât the worst of it, and he could explain himself. âIâm sure you can understand that this semester hasnât⌠well, it wasnât what I envisioned for the start of my sophomore year. Itâs been hard, and not knowing is the worst, and that⌠the video was about that fact that you never know when life is going to change, youâve to make the most of the time you have with the people you love, because one second it could all⌠disappear,â he bowed his head, looking at his knuckles joined together on the table, before he looked back up at them.
âThatâs understandable, and with what youâve gone through, it makes sense that you approach the video like that, itâs good advice to give.â Sebastian appreciated the kind words, a bittersweet smile on his lips. âWere you aware that Greer had submitted a video at the end of last year?â
âI had no idea,â he shook his head. âIt makes sense for Greer to have made a video. We were all expected to, and she stands out of the crowd at Ogden, if anyone were to give the future generations advice it should be her.â Though the topics in Greerâs video didnât exactly shout role model, he knew that Greer was probably one of the first people approached about a video. He couldnât say he expected to see her talking about her personal life. âI didnât expect what she was talking about though, it sounds like she had a realisation. A lot of people wanted to be close to her, I can understand her frustration with people using her. I donât want to make assumptions on her behalf though, but thatâs my take.â
âWould you say her boyfriend was using her?â
âThey seemed happy, at points, Iâm sure they were, but you tell me. No one knew him and suddenly he was dating Greer?â he shrugged. âI donât know.â
âHad you ever heard anything regarding him using steroids?â
âNo,â he answered immediately, a shake of his head following. âSurely, we would know- thereâs signs for that. And Greer wouldâve mentioned it⌠or maybe that explains everything.â He leaned back in his chair, looking up at the ceiling for a moment processing the thought. He knew Greer would disapprove of a thing like that. âIs that why he was expelled, or canât you say?â
Agent Choi shook his head.
âOf course. Well, he didnât seem like the type- but then again, you never know.â The thought of the NaĂŻve Newcomer using steroids came as a big shock to him, but if heâd learned anything from Greerâs disappearance it was that you couldnât really trust anyone. Â
âAnd did she bring up breaking up with him at any point?â Agent Choi followed on.
âNot to me. Iâm sure she wouldâve at some point.â The thought had been playing on his mind, why hadnât she told him. What was she hiding? Why was he learning more about her now than he had when she was around? He hated the fact that everyone found out her secrets at the same time as him now.
âDid have any reason to believe that Greer would want to leave Ogden College?â
âNo,â he shook his head. âNot at all. I thought she was happy here, but as that video suggests thereâs a lot she wasnât telling people.â Even him. He couldnât help but feel sad at the thought that sheâd stopped sharing things with him.
âWere you at the party on June 4th in the Hamptons that Greer is pictured attending on Riley Vanderfordâs social media?â
âI left the Hamptons early actually, I had a party back home that I didnât want to miss, so I wasnât there,â he told them.
âWhat do you know a student named...Nathaniel Shaw?"
Seb leaned forward again, curious as to why they were asking him about Nate. âI know him,â he replied. They didnât always see eye to eye, but deep-down Nate was a guy he got on with, at least when they were drunk. âWeâve hung out occasionally, but heâs not a best friend. We donât always see eye to eye. Heâs got different morals.â
"And his relationship with Greer?"
âIâll be honest with you. Nate developed a disliking for us- I canât pinpoint when, but he started disliking us because of our privileged upbringing, which of course I understand itâs hard to come from a family like his, but we tried to help him. We invited him out with us when we were in the Hamptons, and look, all he did was cause trouble. He had the potential to be more, but he just shoots himself in the foot- I⌠we feel sorry for him. To have hate for people that only want the best for you⌠itâs sad.â Seb finished. It wasnât like he cared for Nate, they were friendly, but Nate would do the same to him. Throw him under the bus. It was just that often, Sebastian got there first.
"I see. How about Natalia Vega? Her relationship with Greer?â
Every question they asked made him wonder what their suspicions were about these people. He put it in the back of his mind to question them as soon as he could.
âSheâs Sloaneâs roommate,â he stated. âI donât know her that well, but the few interactions I have had with her havenât been entirely pleasant, and Iâm certain that Greer didnât get on with her either. Iâm unsure why she has such a hostile attitude towards us, I havenât done anything to her, but she seems to not like us for some reason⌠I couldnât tell you why. I try to not think too much into people like her. She seems to want to cause drama every time I see her,â he shook his head. âEven now, after Greer⌠yeah⌠sheâs not nice.â
âI think thatâs all of our questions for today, thank you. Iâm sure weâll be in contact if we have anything else weâd like to ask of you, but youâve been very helpful. I know this can be hard, but I promise weâre doing everything within our power.â
âI know, and again, we really appreciate it- all your time and efforts. I just hope I can help you in any way possible, Iâd rather be honest and have Greer home,â he paused, letting out a sigh. âIf only everyone else were that willing- but thank you.â He left them with one last smile, leaving the room.
As he rounded the corner, the cool façade still strong, not allowing himself to think about whether heâd said too much, he felt his phone buzz in his pocket. He took it out.
g: well, it looks like the cops sure trust you. letâs not get into the merits of whether or not they should, and instead letâs figure if i should. or if greer morrison should. g: was  your family ever aware of anything ...illegal? or concerning? g: that greer could be used for leverage for, perhaps? g: think about it. even try to figure it out. what you do with that info? well, i guess thatâll let us know if the cops were right for believing what you said.
Immediately the façade dropped, as did Sebastianâs smile. He felt his hand clasping around his phone, and as he tried to control his breathing, but before he knew it the phone had flown across the empty corridor smashing against the opposite wall. The sound woke him from his trance, as he rushed over to pick it up and escape from the scene of his outburst. It seemed that G knew a lot more than Sebastian had bargained for.

Nat made a show of looking around, going as far as spinning in place as she did it before she faced him again with wide, innocent eyes. âSorry, I was looking for the mirror.â Why she chose to engage when walking away was an option, she didnât know. But she couldnât make her feet move now even if she wanted to. Pride, maybe. âConstantly moody and dark and yet, somehow a lot more palatable. Sheâs doing great, though. He let out a laugh, folding his arms over, opening his mouth in fake shock. âDamn,â he shook his head. âI thought I brought it with me.â He let a grin rise on his lips, which slowly faded as the conversation continued onto his twin. âI highly doubt that, doesnât she drag you down?â he questioned. âOh, please do pass on my best wishes to her, I donât plan on bumping into her anytime soon.âÂ

Sassaâs eyes stayed on Sebâs face as he glanced away from her, flicking up and down his profile, taking it in while he wasnât looking at her to see her do it. When he looked towards her, it was her turn to blink her eyes away, gaze finding the ground in front of her for a moment. Until he started speaking.Â
Her chin pulled back, Sassa looking up at Sebastian with raised eyebrows, actually blinking twice as she tried to figure out what exactly was the purpose of his saying that. When he was the one who had been avoiding her. âActually, seems like Iâve been doing just fine without you,â Sassa retorted once she had gathered her wits back about her, her nostrils flaring out ever so quickly in frustration.Â
A beat of silence followed her words, awkwardness encircling them, before Sassa lifted up one shoulder. âThink I should be the one asking you that,â she said, not able to fully imbue the words with concern - she knew his closeness to Greer had been much of what had caused Seb to pull away from her, but still. His sister was missing.Â
-
He watched her eye the ground, desperate to know the thoughts in her head, knowing that heâd never find out, probably never deserved to find out. He knew what he did, even if heâd never admit to it, he knew that heâd hurt her. He quickly realised that sheâd gotten over hurt and was now just frustrated. Seb had no idea what he was trying to gain by speaking to her, but he continued on nevertheless.
âHere I was thinking youâd be missing me,â he teased, though he knew that he wouldnât receive the reaction he was used to by the person receiving it, in fact, he was certain it might warrant him a scowl, but again, admitting anything was wrong was not one of Sebastianâs strong points.Â
Half of him was tempted to walk away, avoiding this all together, but some part of him, deep down, was desperate to talk, to find out how she was, to get back to how they were. Her comment was met with slight confusion, before he realised what she meant, folding his arms over. âI didnât think youâd care,â he muttered, bowing his head before he looked back at her. âAnd still, you donât answer how you are? You trying to hide something?âÂ
