My dad is in the hospital and is recovering from emergency surgery, I'm now the only working member of the household and am caring for my younger brother alone. I'll also be doing bedside care for my dad when he returns home. Red is also sick, and we still don't know what's wrong.

Unfortunately I have no good updates about my situation. There isn't much to say, it's a pretty cut and dry issue this time around.

One week ago, my dad suffered an aortic dissection. It's a fucking miracle he's alive. Since then he's been in the ICU, so I'm now the only working member in the household, and am providing for my younger brother (14). Soon my dad will be home and I will be assisting with his recovery, as well.

Along with that, I've talked extensively about my partner Red's health and its decline, and there's still no progress on recovery there. I made an update on that semi-recently, but since then there has been no further news. They're still dropping weight and now have started to faint often. It's happened in the shower a few times. Needless to say they're still on medical leave.

It's scary, it's stressful, and it's an extremely monetarily tight time for us. The only good news I have is that I've stopped sex work altogether; I just couldn't do it mentally anymore. That being said, it does make commissions my only source of income now. I'm trying to find other work, but due to dozens upon dozens of factors it's far more difficult than it should be.
