Okay so I have this etn christmas special headcanon that's been on my mind for a while HEAR ME OUT:

So, Joey and Liza are the shippers of the group, and Joey is the D1 Matpat×Ro shipper and he takes MASSIVE pride in it (in this holiday fanfic special Matt and Ro are both single BTW)

Also, Matt and Ro spend a LOT of time together, and Joey LOVES THIS

Like LOVES it.

So I've just been picturing this moment:

Joey and Ro are buying Christmas pajamas for the girls (at Victoria's Secret bc duh) and they find this cute Santa baby set and lose their minds

I'm talking about this:

Everyone in the store watching Joey and Ro jumping up and down and screaming like little girls: 👁👄👁

Ro is up late at night, like 15 minutes (BUT I CAN DO A LOT WITH 15 MINUTES- I apologize 😭) to midnight late wearing the tank top and santa hat that came with the set, a pair of white shorts and knee high socks, she's in the kitchen getting a plate of christmas cookies and getting ready to turn on a movie

Matt comes downstairs to get some diet coke (bc duh) and he sees Ro jamming out to Ariana Grande with flour all over her face and he just freezes

Ro turns around and finds Mat standing in the doorway too stunned to speak

"How... how long have you been there?" She asks as she turns red as a tomato

Mat awkwardly picks up his phone and says "I just came down here to get a drink..."

Ro starts giggling and picks up her phone that she dropped. "I couldn't go back to sleep so I wanted to watch a movie and have some Christmas cookies..."

Matt smiles and responds "Mind if I join?"

And of course Ro is like "of course 🥰🥰"

The two are watching Christmas tiktok compilations decorating Christmas cookies and laughing together and Ro realizes they don't have any hot chocolate so she quickly goes to pour two mugs of hot chocolate for the two of them

Matt feels like the room is too silent and plays some music (not me being like "pls listen to the song I inserted for this chapter" like I'm a 2014 wattpad author 😭🫵🪞🫵😭):

As the cookies are cooling off Ro starts getting sleepy, and goes over to the couch to lie down, Matt sits next to her and pulls her into his arms.

They're half asleep on the couch for a while, the smell of cookies and got chocolate filling the air

They both realize they're sitting very close, both of them blushing hardcore, but neither of them wanting to move.

Matt brushes her hair out of her eyes and gently kisses her forehead. "You're such an amazing friend, I don't know what I did to deserve you."

Ro smiles and leans up, kissing his cheek and hugs him tightly. "I could say the same about you. You're so sweet and supportive."

Unbeknownst to them Joey and Liza come downstairs, half awake and comes downstairs bc they could smell cookies and that's when Joey sees Ro and Matt on the couch together and absolutely loses it.

"OH. MY GOSH. YOU TWO!" and proceeds to snap multiple pictures

Matt and Ro jump apart like they're on fire, her Santa hat falling off of her head and Matt is practically red at the lights on the Christmas tree

"WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING AWAKE?" Ro shrieks in a panic

"LIZA GET DOWN HERE!" Joey yells upstairs and Liza sees them and promptly starts fangirling

"AWW WHAT A CUTE COUPLE!" And Ro throws a pillow at them BAHAHAHA

Matt yells at them to go back to bed and they run upstairs before he goes over to Ro and helps her up.

"You okay?" He sits down next to her by the fireplace, his fingers gently massaging her sides where she fell on the floor. "You took a pretty gnarly fall."

Ro rubs her arms, "Yeah. I'm fine, thanks."

Matt smirks "Wouldn't want such an adorable girl getting hurt." He playfully flirts, kissing her cheek repeatedly as she's giggling nonstop

Context: I've only seen season 7, but I just started watching season 6 (literally watching as I am typing this) so this things to script is based on what I know based on season 7!

Zoe's biggest wish was to fall in love, something she's been manifesting since she was in high school. She first found Clawdeen while watching the Skulltimate Roller Maze finals when she was 14, and it was love at first sight. When she saw Clawdeen in person for the first time she felt all those dreams rushing back in a euphoric wave.
