I’ve been super sick and life is just fucking shit right now, I’ve had an operation for my kidney and there’s two more on the way. I had kidney stone, got it removed in November but now I have to have plastic surgery cause my kidney is too big.

A doctor and a nurse stormed in and the doctor held a syringe to your neck. You were screaming and kicking. The substance was yellow, that’s all you saw.

All you could think of was Finnick, Katniss, everyone. If they were alive, if they weren’t.

After you were injected with the substance you felt yourself closing your eyes and going limp.

You wake up to Joanna and Peeta screaming. Then you feel a sting in my stomach, an electric sting. You groan and open your eyes to see Joanna and Peeta, screaming in pain as they were beat and tased.

Then you go unconscious again after a few minutes.

This went on for days.

You wake up to a doctor by your side. You instantly flinch, thinking it was the doctor from the capitol. You look around, panting. The capitol really did a number on you. You were skinny, with bruises everywhere. You had marks on my body, where they had hit you and abused you. Then the doctor starts talking.

“You’re not in the Capitol, you’re in district 13. You’re safe.” She said.

You look around hastily, worried and scared.

Then… you hear a voice you could never forget. You look to my right and see him. You see Finnick standing there, tears in his eyes as he sees your condition.

You quickly rip off everything they had attached to you and ran up to him, hugging him tightly as you cried into his chest. His hand in you hair as he held you by your back, he pulls away a little to see your face.

“I-I thought you were dead…” he sighed, his eyes red.

The life at district 13 was becoming normal. You liked it, mostly cause you was spending most of your days with Finnick. You don’t know what but… ever since you woke up, you haven’t stopped thinking about how he hugged you, and how you talked… it felt calming in some sort of way.

It was now late at night and most of the people in 13 were asleep.

You were still up cause you couldn’t sleep. So you laid in your bed, fidgeting with your fingers when you hear a quiet knock on your door. You look up from your bed to see Finnick standing there.

You get out of bed and open the door, whispering to him.

“What are you doing here?” You ask.

He starts then pauses, like he doesn’t know how to say it.

“Can… can I stay here? -Just for the night.” He says.

“Yeah, of course.” You say, a bit worried. You move to the side and let him in.

He walks inside and immediately goes to sit on your bed, you watch him, his eyes red and puffy like he was… crying?

You immediately go sit beside him and rub his back comfortably.

“I’m sorry, I just… had a nightmare. I don’t wanna seem weak, but it was about you…” He says. His elbow on his knees as he stares before him.

“Me?” You say confused. “Do you wanna talk about it?”

He just shakes his head.

“It’s it okay if I sleep here… with you?” He asks, finally looking up at you from the floor.

Slightly blushing you say,
