<할로, 케빈!>이란 작품은 저자의 자전적 이야기를 담은 그래픽 노블로 이러한 물음 속에서 시작되었습니다. 저자 정민호는 아무리 생각해도 확실할 수 있는 답을 내리지 못한 채, 2014년 봄이 시작할 무렵 독일에 교환학생으로 떠났습니다. 그 곳에서 '케빈'이란 친구를 만나게 되었고, 조금씩 그 답을 알아가기 시작합니다. 행복을 찾기 위한 여정은 끝나지 않았지만 독일에서의 기억을 많은 사람들과 공유하고 싶어 <할로, 케빈!>을 그리게 되었습니다. 이 책은 일상의 경험을 소재로 삶의 유한성과 존재의 의미, 행복의 출처에 대한 고민들을 쉽게 전달하고 있으며, 그래픽 노블이라는 매체를 활용해 재미있게 읽을 수 있도록 표현되었습니다.
