Heck ya, gotta love the consensus. She’s a mature person and absolutely knows when and when not to swear. And I bet she has at least once pulled the sweat card out to mess with people for fun.
Would Moon say fuck?
Me personally would say that she can say fack, but refuses to. But this question specifically im curious about what the fandom has to say

I’ve decided to basically archive this blog. It’s not something I wish to continue as an ask/role play blog. So it’s probably just gonna never be touched again. I’m not gonna delete it for archival purposes.
So if you wish to see talk about this character or other like them then go to @charmtheslugcat (and to see me do random other things)

Well hello there, it’s been a while. (Hehehe) I really just abandoned this for 3 months, and really sorry about that.
Life got in the way and I got extremely burnt out from said life stuff and just had been struggling with creating stuff period. So that’s why I’ve been gone, but I also plan on making some changes to this blog.
I’m gonna be redesigning Spin and reworking their personality a bit since I was kinda just doing whatever came in the moment. So I plan on making some proper story and introducing some new characters to do it. Unfortunately this means that most interactions before this will no longer be canon to Spin’s story.
The blog will also be on a continued PROPER hiatus until I can finish the characters refs and rough storyline, so roughly around July, (cause I want these things ready for art fight so I can actually participate)
So until then thank y’all for being patient while I was mia and I hope to be able to be back soon!
In the meantime I might post some art on my main blog @charmtheslugcat, so if you like my art or just random reblog a check me out there.

SPIN: Quite the interesting little thing, and it’s terrible to hear of them getting hurt.
SPIN: I’ve never heard of such dangerous steam vents being a thing on such a large scale.
EGC:hello I am endless glitched cycle, I have just recently got a replacement for my communication array. I have noticed your …love(?) of vultures.
EGC:did you modify them or are they wild-born? I have purposed organism king vulture called “the fog king.” They are made to be a defensive force against the local lizards. Or the scavenger tribe.
SPIN: Nono, I could never modify them. (if I’m being honest I wasn’t even aware of it until recently). Although I can respect the effort it seems to take in order to modify creatures for one’s own purposes.

9. How would you describe your oc’s personality? How would they describe their personality?
Spin is a kind person, they want to make sure their little corner of the world stays in order. Especially since there’s only themselves to take care of it. They’re pretty introverted and anxious too, so they don’t mind it too much.
SPIN: Hmm my personality. Well with the vultures I’m kinda like their parent. Someone who makes sure they don’t cause too many problems. And I make sure they’re ok. So I guess you could say I’m pretty paternalistic. But uh I tend to struggle with talking. My messages tend take a while to arrive, because I always make sure to say the right thing.
12. What is your oc’s Biggest fear? Why?
SPIN: My biggest fear would be being truly alone. Not just losing contact with the outside world. I can deal with that. I’ve Dealt with it. No it’s losing all the life around my can, especially the vultures. The idea of everything being quite. No one who comes says hi or pesters me. I don’t think I could make it through that. The definitive silence, it terrifies me. Heh kinda ironic considering what my purpose is.

14. Does your oc have any hobbies? How did they get involved in these?
SPIN: I’ve tried to grow stuff in the past, but it’s been somewhat unsuccessful. The remaining facilities work great, it’s just the vultures get in and eat a lot of the plants. Which is kinda ironic since I started it for them. It got so bad I had to construct one lower down my structure. Which has been going fairly well. Just have had to change some of the seeds I planted for down there.

SPIN: That’s good.
Your vultures are quite interesting
Avian creatures ..
mine are more like mollusks and have little social structure, except who can beat each other in a fight
would you happen to record the mutations over time of your vultures
I would like the data
-eternal anomaly
SPIN: Wow it’s so interesting to know such similarly named creatures are the complete opposites. And of course I have the records for the mutations over generations.
SPIN: The species started with purposed organisms, as most do. They were scouting creatures, originally intended to scope out the areas for new cans and sent out in pairs. But that didn’t last long, blame the mass exodus of the Ancients. After that most just stuck around my can and settled in the abandoned buildings.
SPIN: The first generation didn’t have much change, aside from lacking the mechanical parts of their parents. They were very social , although lacked much of the complexity of today. With most relationships only revolving around pairs. They’d started to become much more group focused by the 5-6th generation. Mask complexity also increased with this much more social environment. I hypothesize that this was because they needed this to help distinguish between each other.
SPIN: They also grew bigger, until about the 8th generation when this petered out. This size protected them from the lizards they routinely fought and brought about much more colorful pigmentations.
SPIN: Most major mutations stoped around this time. Probably because the more highly mutable genes had died out. So the ones today look pretty similar to the ones four generations back.
SPIN: Oh, they’re also very long lived. Which is why so few generations have happened since the founding group.
SPIN: I’ll try to get diagrams and references to you sometime soon. They’re just fairly old and buried under all my files so it might take awhile.

SPIN: oh that, that doesn’t sound good at all.
SPIN: I don’t even want to think of doing that to my babies. Although it seems cruel to just kill them off, especially if they’re physically fine and will live a happy life.
SPIN: But I have the feeling I can’t do anything to change your mind.

SPIN: I have never read about creatures being modified from sea to sky, that is truly something.
SPIN: And what do you mean by creature modification? I only knew that the ancients did that. Granted I’m not too surprised if it’s a thing. I didn’t have any communication for over 400 cycles, so who knows what else others have done.
SPIN: Wait , how in the world can an animal manipulate a gun?

SPIN: Their masks aren’t removable. Made out of a similar compound to bone, they grow and shed the outer layers throughout life. They’re part of their skull much like the outer layer of a lizards head. I’ve only seen one instance of the mask being removed in life. She didn’t last long after, and it wasn’t a pretty sight. I-I’m.. she was a good vulture, and the group mourned her for a very long time.
SPIN: I uh, he. What kind of creatures are these intelligent creatures your friend communicates with?
SPIN: Hello, I’ve come to introduce myself since I noticed your signal in one of the recent chat channels. You may call me Spin.
SPIN: I also came to ask about your local wildlife. that’s an appropriate icebreaker right?
SPIN: Well anyway do you have any vultures. My population has been going strong for about 12 generations now, they’re absolutely wonderful little things. If not a little needy. It’s the best when your just sitting at the top of your can and one brings you a little goody they found.
SPIN: Although they don’t seem to understand that dead lizards are not the best gifts for me. Also have you ever seen a vulture chick! They’re the cutest things in the world.
SPIN: Wait, I seemed to to have rambled off there. Sorry about that. I’m more used to one sided conversations.
SPIN: I hope this cycle has been treating you well.
<FDM> oh!! hello there!! i am first dewdrop of morning, you may refer to me as 'dew'! or, as many of my friends call me, 'last', as i am the youngest in this group.
<FDM> i must admit i have absolutely no idea what a vulture is. here we have legless lizards, large seabirds, things we call "antelopes" just to name a few, but nothing like a vulture. i would LOVE to see one, however, especially if they are as cute as they say! i trust you!
<FDM> if you wish for a more in-depth conversation about the animal life, i suggest you speak with one of my neighbors - i recall that winter's monsoon is currently considering himself a sanctuary for the weaker wildlife here, three small feathers in a lake of quills is in direct contact with several groups of more intelligent creatures here, booming voice with quiet temper and her partner a golden rock within a pebble are spending much time categorizing the various beasts and... non...beasts... that we have seen in our general area, golden focusing on creating photographs and even paintings of the beasts and quiet finding proper names for them.
<FDM> erm.
<FDM> as you can see, i also have a tendency to ramble...
<FDM> regardless, again, i would love to see any pictures you can send me of these vultures, and i can show much in exchange! even if you would rather speak to a professional here, i would enjoy listening.
<FDM> i hope this cycle has been treating you well, as well!

SPIN: You have quite the group of neighbors, makes me a little jealous. I’d love to talk to them about your regions sometime.
SPIN: I’d never pass up the opportunity gush about vultures to someone other than, well, vultures.
SPIN: this here is a vulture (with me for scale). They’re large, social avian creatures which live on top of my can and in my general vicinity. Their masks are an important social object, with it only being removed upon death. At birth it starts small, dull, and no protrusions. And as they grow and loose their fluffy coat, they also shed their baby mask for a fancy adult mask.
SPIN: They primarily scavenge corpses from the rain but will also hunt, especially during the spring to show off for potential mates. (They also like the little treats I make from their gifts).
SPIN: This here is a picture of Mauve from a cycle or two back.
SPIN: He was jealous thinking I was petting another vulture.
SPIN: and these two are a pair, although they have been gone for a long who.e now.
SPIN: I don’t have any baby pictures, but I’ll make sure to send some once a new clutch hatches.
