how last night felt

oh my god idk who to talk to about this i’m so genuinely freaked the fuck out lol. person quotes this post of a lady saying something so strange and dumb. quote is like what is wrong with everyone. i almost disregard it as regular This person does not know what they are talking about This is not worth my time. i’m gonna remember that extra hard next time because i just spent a significant about of time scrolling through this lady’s acc fact checking her. lot of what she says is based on actual science it’s like mostly true it’s just. the context in which she refers to this random piece of research this random inkling of truth..i think that’s what was so scary about it. because some of it is Really convincing and many people are in the comments agreeing with her. but every once in a while she says something completely out of pocket and weird and it’s like what is this. who are you. she has a website she has clients people pay her for like. medical advice i think. i googled her name i can’t recall anything regarding her education..where she obtained degrees.. tho i’m sure she’s well educated. she has well over 100k followers. i posted i was like guys maybe don’t look at that because i’m pretty sure someone could go down a serious ocd spiral reading some of it. straight up induce psychosis by following her i’m sure. type of thing you only ever hear about you never expect to encounter it firsthand. iiiidk y’all. be safe out there😭

I know I couldn't handle having kids but if I was left in charge of some, I'd take them to the park to feed ducks. Not bread though, you shouldn't feed that to ducks. We're feeding them lettuce. Let the ducks going apeshit over lettuce show the kids that lettuce is actually awesome. When they go home, their parents are baffled by the fact that the kids are now willingly eating salad. In the most horribly animalistic fucked up way possible.

here’s what i’ve been working on lately. pizza and sandwich. everything comes apart. i could go on and on about why i chose to make them this way but all you really need to know is everything is very well thought out and intentional. i had my students and their differing abilities in mind through the whole process. i’m gonna make more toppings for the pizza so it can become a dice game

ugh believe it or not i didn’t even mean to get into all that i just wanted to show like hey you may think i’m plotting and scheming and being two faced that’s fine you’re entitled to your opinion. but i’m telling you i’m out here going to work making toys coming home arranging my toys LOL that is it😭😭if i’m not doing something for work i’m doing something probably really stupid tbh i don’t have time for thinking about making people feel bad on purpose

i had kinda weird day at work. not even day just moment. cause the rest of the day was really good and fun. but someone i once had a lot of respect for someone i considered a real friend of mine has been really mean to me lately. calling me things i’m not and questioning my intentions. it doesn’t bother me too much because i know who i am i know what i am and what i am not. every day i go to work and i bust my ass for these kids. i craft adaptable toys for them so they can learn how to do things no one ever thought to teach them like how to make a sandwich. last week this person called me out in the middle of the class in front of the kids in front of our coworkers cursing and everything. i said you know what. you are right. i am sorry. i went home and i thought man i didn’t try hard enough. ME. oh my god i couldn’t believe i even had that thought. me who comes in early and leaves late and skips lunch just making stuff for the kids. me who has a million ideas every day about things we can do with the kids to help them experience new things and be more independent. me who felt SO BAD about this thing with my coworkers that i spent a whole hour before my shift the next day talking to the teacher about it. most people see what i do as just a job. that’s fine because i know i go way above and beyond and i don’t expect anyone to match my effort. i do this because i truly genuinely love doing it. this is my passion! idk if i ever fully grasped the meaning of that word until this. my heart my soul my everything is in this. i wouldn’t be here without it. so yeah.

guyssss what did i always used to say there’s a monkey in my brain it’s deli from ac as a way to describe adhd sorta. idk it helped to imagine it that way and acknowledge like hey some of this is out of my control. anyways i just caught myself saying “i’m one with the monkey in my brain” lol he’s not just in there causin all sorts of trouble anymore n i said it in reference to me just saying shit like whatever is on my mind even if it’s so fucking stupid cause for a long time i didn’t talk cause i didn’t have anything to say. now i’ll talk to randos on the street because why not. i am the monkey now monkey don’t control me and i don’t control monkey we happily monkeying around

anytime someone tells me they have an autistic child i pause for a minute. like no yeah that tracks (when autism mommy and/or autism daddy love each other very much:) autism baby) Or the scenario i encountered this morning in an uber i meet someone i tell them i work at a special ed school they say my son has autism i’m like oh okay. listens to see if they are the autism parent. respectfully. and in this case pretty sure he was lol just the way we conversed. anyways he said his son was an evil genius “heavy on the evil” “diabolical” even. no examples so i can only imagine
