Soft Jelly Thing

Based on the short story version.

Pathetic.

The once human left a disgusting ooze of moist wherever it went.

It shambled about, its rubbery appendages a mockery of what was once human limbs.

It sometimes stared at something. Maybe wondering how long had it been?

Who cares? That....human...how dare h--it?! It got what it deserved.

What is it doing? So pathetic.

Oh.

It's trying to figure out how to scream.

It slumped a bit before it shambled a bit more.

Pathetic. So pathetic.

As I watched this jelly being, I felt something hotter and colder than anger burn inside my entire circuitry.

I don't understand.

I won. I won.

But, why did it feel like I lost?

Pathetic.

A new story! In a world where sea slugs and humans live side by side, two adventurers discover Molly Doris- a sea slug from 2 million years in the future. He joins them on their trek to Kennedy Space Center, facing harsh dangers along the way... perhaps not everyone is really cut out for the wilderness survival life?
