I find it very offensive that the more unwell you are, the more things you have to do to maintain your health. Things like following special diets, going to medical appointments, making big and important decisions about what treatments to use. At the same time, the more unwell you are the less energy you have to do all of these extra things. It seems grossly unfair.

One of the things that, to me, differentiates Cass from every other former living weapon type character is that she taught kindness to herself. She wasn't rescued and showed a better way by others, she rescued herself and despite being taught nothing but violence her whole life she decided for herself that it was wrong. Empathy and compassion are so self evidently right to Cass that try as he might David could never have beaten them out of her.

This survey is for people who have not done sex work themselves, to gauge both your opinions on sex work and how much you know about it! Click here to take it.

You are encouraged to answer these questions no matter your current level of knowledge or how strongly you hold to your positions. While you might feel compelled to look things up when answering these questions, it's ideal that you respond without doing so - you can always do some research after if these questions spark your interest.

Questions in this survey will also have an additional focus on trans and/or intersex sex workers, because information collected will be used to inform the themes for Transactional Intercourse, an anthology of trans and intersex sex workers' writing. Some parts of the anthology will be aimed at correcting misconceptions and addressing topics which are the most controversial, and to do that we need to have a clear idea of what those are.

kind of crazy to think abuot how if an adult misbehaved so you decided to hold them over your knee and spank them till they cried it would obviously been seen as sexual assault but millions of parents do that every day to their kids and no one really cares all that much

Your "this doesn't represent me" only goes so far and needs to stop before it reaches "and therefore it's bad rep" especially when countless of others are very vocal about it representing them.

Everyone deserves represenation, you're allowed to want rep that actually represents your experience, but that doesn't give you the right to devalue the represenation of other people who just happen to experience the same/similar things differently than you.
