There’s a couple of cool ideas I had about KH4 and instead of bugging my poor brother I’m just gonna write them here:

Princess and the frog Status effect that works same as being hit by touch me frogs. Basically Froggy heartless or the shadow man hit you with a spell and 💥BOOM 💥Frog master.

BRAVE battle against Mordu, where Sora and/or Riku can use a bagpipe sounding spell to disperse heartless. This one I like specifically because historically drums and bagpipes were played on battlefields to intimidate enemies.

Also concerning BRAVE, it would be cool for there to be a bear summon or something.

I’d like to see some more of Radient gardens for sure. It’s kind of been repaired quite quick in terms of the in game timeline, and I’d love to explore it more.

Also, it probably won’t happen but it would be really cool to see them use the clone wars art style IF we do get Star Wars. They likely won’t and instead do the OG or sequel trilogy but still.

Also a pod racing mini game?????👀 CaNtEeNa MINI GAME?!?

If we were to get inside out, I think it would make more sense for it to be either in Kairis head or Sora’s, possibly Ventus’. This is because I don’t think it makes any sense for it to be Riley from the OG movie.

It would be interesting to see if Joy is micromanaging Sora’s brain while Sadness is trying to be heard like in the film, but also hearing Sora’s Fears and his anger have a voice would be interesting.

I desperately want to see Coco because visually that world would be stunning but I really hope they don’t reduce it to rhythm based play like little mermaid. It would be cool to have music based attacks for sure, but similarly to how Bard attacks work in FFXIV. Basically Songs creating status affects both positive and negative.

I will accept a shot for shot remake of remember me, because that song is truly a masterpiece and mama coco deserves the world.

Moana. Now, I know it’s a contentious point but I think this world would have AMAZING potential. Singing aside, Tafiti would be a stunning boss, and also would really hammer home that being corrupted by darkness is not the end, and that it can be healed. It would be a good world for Riku to experience I think, as art of his own growth.

And yes, I think having Moui as a party member as well as Moana would be great. I also think as a summon Moui has great potential.

The other art that’s beneficial to Moana is this idea of responsibility, and how traditional ways of doing something, don’t always mean they are right. Moana stepped onto the raft, same as Riku, she took a chance and it went wrong but she came through it. Moana and Riku have a lot in common thematically.

I’d like to think that Riku and Sora got some more fight time together, or that Kairi has gotten stronger since we saw her last. It would be cool to play as her though I don’t think we will get to.

I’d also like the hear about Roxas and Xion. And have some more uncovered about Ventus and Vanitas. But we will see.

Okay I’m gonna ask. And I know people are gonna come into the comments and call me a fool, but I don’t think I’m being one.

Where did Zack get his chin scar from? Because everyone always says Angeal and like… no?

When we see Zack at the end of the Angeal fight, he has a cut on his cheek that is way to high to be even the horizontal line on his chin. So where did it come from?

Personally I’m a fan of the idea that his X scar is a bit of an urban legend amongst young infantry recruits who aren’t old enough to have been in the infantry when Angeal defected. So everyone whispers about how Zack got it from fighting his crazed old mentor, and that the tyrannical Genesis Rhapsodos goaded the mentally crippled Angeal into hurting his student.

The truth? Kunsel slugged him in the jaw with a gauntlet on.

I’ve been watching dumb long distance relationship videos (you know, as one does.) and now I’m thinking about a dumb Strifehart long distance AU that -say it with me now folks- I probably will never get around to writing!

The idea is that Cloud decides to up and disappear for a few weeks on his friends to go on a solo holiday. He’s kind of sick of being a third wheel on days out and holidays. So, he packs up a bag one night and hops on his bike and goes literally anywhere.

He passes through twilight town, up through Zanarkand (he stops to say hey to Tidus and Yuna on the way.), spends a few days fishing in Altisia with Noctis, and even stops off at Banora to steal Angeal’s Dumb Apple pie and wind Genesis up before heading out to Balamb.

He’s never been before but the brochure he picked up in Destiny islands said it was an “area of outstanding natural beauty” which usually meant rural. Cloud likes rural. It meant nobody bothered you. So he gets a hotel in the nearest town, and checks out the sights.

It’s nice. Not quite as remote as he’d hoped, but the towns and villages are filled with flowers and little boutiques that sell odd little trinkets that he just seems to want to collect. On the day he plans to head out though he walks into a computer shop looking for a replacement charge cable for his phone and finds a very handsome reason to stay.

Squall leonhart is not so tall that it makes Cloud feel short, but tall enough that he’d have to duck his head to meet clouds lips. He’s brunette with the most gorgeous storm gray eyes and the scar on the bridge of his nose really doesn’t dull any of his features. Cloud doesn’t exactly loose the ability to speak so much as he forgets why he came in and then has to come back the next day to correct the mistake.

Squall seems to be building a gaming PC whilst also serving customers and just by enquiring Cloud finds out it’s for his nephew who’s turning 13. Cloud does not have even half a clue what most of the words Squall says mean, but he wants to hear him say them forever.

So he does a dumb thing and asks him out for coffee after the fourth day of coming in simply to talk to him. Squall almost says no, but then gets embarrassed by his best friend Rinoa who outs him for actually waiting for Cloud to come in that morning.

Cloud stays in Balamb longer than is likely legal but eventually after six weeks (on top of the Four he’s already been traveling for) he does finally get a worried call from Tifa asking when he’ll be back. So he heads back, with Squalls number in his phone, and a really heavy feeling in his heart.

When he gets back however, his friends decide, in their infinite wisdom, to set him up on dates so that he didn’t feel on the outside of their time together. Cloud protests loudly and often but it doesn’t stop Kunsel from inviting Roche to dinner. It doesn’t stop Tifa from trying to set him up with Her colleague Barret. And it really doesn’t stop the world crushing embarrassment of Aerith and Zack inviting him to a threesome (oh how he’d wished for the ground to swallow him that night.)

Eventually he snaps and tells them about squall, but it makes the pining he’s been experiencing worse somehow. They talk every night and Cloud just about survives the mortification of admitting they fall asleep on FaceTime together.

His friends demand he introduce them to Squall but Cloud puts his foot down. He wants Squall to get to know his friends, but he wants it on his terms and for it to be in person. The problem is, Squall’s shop takes up a lot of his time as the owner and Clouds delivery business is backlogged to madness with how long he was away.

So aside from little half way happy meetings they have in planned holiday destinations, squall and Cloud are mostly appart for three years. And it sucks.

Until clouds 25th birthday.

He’d just relocated to Radient garden to help Tifa run their co-owned bar. They’d decided just to order take out and have an unpacking party (Zack had boo’s loudly) with some music and wine to celebrate, but Cloud is completely unaware that Tifa and Aerith had gotten hold of his phone a few weeks before to get Squalls number.

Radient garden was closer, it’s part of the reasons they’d chosen the city in the first place. But what Cloud doesn’t know is that Squall got a job working for the city’s security company.

So imagine his surprise when the doorbell rings and he opens it to get the take out only to find his boyfriend -his very far away boyfriend- is the one delivering the food?

Cloud practically flattens Squall against the porch with how insanely excited he gets and it genuinely shocks everyone because Cloud is not a reactive kind of person. He’s emotional sure, though he doesn’t show it on his face often, but he doesn’t react. That’s usually Yuffie and Zack’s thing.

Squalls just as happy, holding Cloud tight as he clings and muttering happy birthday into his hair, but Cloud doesn’t care if it’s fricking Christmas. His partner is here. He’s within reach and when he finds out he’s staying? It’s possibly the best birthday present ever
