so yeah. This was Sundus’s very first design. She didn’t have a name back then, I think I wanted to name her Najma (which means star, and fits her appearance) and she originally had vitiligo, but then after writing the story I saw that the condition wouldn’t be represented accurately.

(The little girl is called Hope, and the boy is Fate)

Artist’s rant + some art

Wow. This week was busy. It’s Thursday so basically the end of the week. I’m SO HAPPY tomorrow is Friday. Where I live Friday is a weekend day and as insignificant as it may seem in the summer break but it does matter to our family😭 not only because it’s the only day we don’t have to cook in 🌚 so I have more time for art, but because we have some constructions going on near our apartment complex and God bless them they start working at 5am …so my mom ends up having to come sleep in my room which kind of breaks my personal rhythm (obviously I don’t blame my mom god bless her) But Friday means I can sleep in and have more privacy.

anyway. Is there any other artists who don’t know if they’re struggling with arrogance or imposter syndrome 😭😭😭 cause the two are complete opposites and yet I feel like I keep on swinging from one to the other. I feel proud of my art but I feel like it’s not original or deep. And lately it’s been like a chore more than fun. I want to get better but I don’t know here to start or from where to learn. I need to work on my anatomy, hands, fabric, poses, and background drawing. I’m working on getting better at painting. I want to do animations or comics and yet every time I start I just can’t make it look good or even finish it. If anyone feels like they can help out in any of these aspects let’s get in contact and be artist friends, hopefully we can help each other out.

Florence Audrey Brown is her name, and she is not a flower girl, she's a nurse.

I designed her for a specific uvogin x reader Soulmate AU story I came across (yandere I think??) but nope she is not self insert.

I do have my own story for them, that mind you ends up with him being domesticated, cause it's way better than being buried in the middle of no where (as an ending for him).

I know people aren't into (some even hate) the "he reforms / she fixes him" genre but that's the best a depressed, slice of life author can give you, sorry.

I showed it to my younger cousin and she gave me a look and said "how does that even work" (if uk uk) but let me tell you it works through anime magic cause believe me I've seen weirder relationships.

Anyway; since my handwriting is probably a terror to read, here's what's written on the margins;

Also LOTS of posts about him are coming in soon. Ive been drawing him for a year now so… he is the most random, side, scarcely showing, character I’ve ever been so obsessed with. But I think it’s worth it.
