Do you also think Bhaal disapproved of Durge's friendships/relationships because Durge is the closest thing to the rib of Bhaal of all Bhaalspawn? He's the closest thing Bhaal came to actually replicating/creating himself in a new form
For sure, this must have played a significant role as well. All Bhaalspawn have some divine essence, but the Dark Urge even more so since they're essentially a sort of "clone" of Bhaal. He created them to act as his hand/body on Toril, and it's shown that he's able to exercise an immense amount of control over the Dark Urge as well. Seeing his demigod child interact with regular mortals as if they're equals, without his explicit permission, must have really pissed Bhaal off.

It's interesting that the Dark Urge's prayer for forgiveness is not about them asking Bhaal for forgiveness because they like (or even love) another moral, or consider another person to be their equal. They pray for forgiveness because Gortash is affiliated with an enemy of Bhaal: Bane, a rival god.
The Dark Urge writes, "Forgive me, Father, for I cannot help but admire the Chosen of your sworn foe." They go on to assure Bhaal that their admiration of Gortash will be inconsequential because "those of Bane always fall to the same folly." And they write later on that "The Dead Three, age-old foes, our dire patrons, will be bosom friends for a time," thus making it clear that they understand that the Dead Three are only temporary allies. The Dark Urge fears Bhaal's wrath for admiring the Chosen of an enemy god, so they go out of their way throughout the letter to emphasise that they are completely loyal to Bhaal alone.
Obviously, that does not mean that Bhaal was just fine with the Dark Urge associating so closely with another person. There's some dialogue that implies that Bhaal does not appreciate the Dark Urge treating other people as equals, or the Dark Urge having friends.
If post-tadpole Dark Urge does not kill Isobel in time and Sceleritas never gives them the order to kill her, he will visit the Dark Urge's camp and tells them that, "Your betters are no fans of the company you've been keeping…" If the Dark Urge has a partner, he says, "You could do so much better." He also mentions, "You are wrong to consider another your equal," and that "One of your station has no equal to call a friend."
So it's made clear that Bhaal does not like the Dark Urge's new companions. And that he would most likely agree that the Dark Urge outranks other mortals so much that they can never have actual friends, and can never treat anyone as an equal. And yet… Gortash is an equal. He is a friend (or more). They like each other, the Dark Urge even admires him.
Considering Sceleritas' words, Bhaal probably wasn't very pleased with the relationship between the Dark Urge and Gortash, even outside of Gortash being Bane's Chosen.

I drew a scene from my silly fanfic where Gortash has a fever and Durge tries to take care of him, the title is "A Sick Chosen" 😌💖

My evil Dark Urge. Blind in one eye, missing scales, and broken horns. A Zealot Barbarian created for slaughter and fueled by the gifts granted to him through his divine blood.
Red for passion, white for beauty. He will paint the skies with blood and sit upon a throne of skulls.
In Bhaal's name!

How do you think Durge would deal with well... Watching Gortash basically be killed by the Absolute in front of his eyes?
I think they had other things to worry about at that moment but for sure thought crossing his head was "what the hell we are screwed" and they were scared. Also Gortash was his last connection with his past self so he lost more than ex-friend/lover. The whole weight of this sitiuation hit them probably after whole fight, probably when they were alone. I don't think they see Gortash more that their last source of information about themselfs but they feel lost.
