I'm a sucker for domestic/slice-of-life fics that this is exactly how I imagine them living together especially with the new members that it's cute and funny.

Tony Stark designing the tower for the 6 original avengers and having a single spare floor. Which every other new avenger now has to move into because they are not changing the building layout at this point

YES with the amount of fanfics I've read Loki's redemption was handled perfectly as he was still in character in most of them which is exactly why I am currently hyperfixed on the fics just to make myself forget about that trash party of a show.

Another mini Loki show rant...

' You want him to be redeemed, but as soon as he does, you want him being evil again!'

Siiggghhh.

There's a difference between an antagonist learning from their mistakes and learning to become a better person, and just taking away all of the character's iconic and well-known traits to make them into a wishy-washy weak clown who is very much OOC.

You can do a good redemption without dumbing down and changing the personality of the character.

Redemption shouldn't have to mean changing the entire person to be someone else.

The Loki show's Loki is not it.

There are fanfics that literally have Loki being one of the Avengers that do his redemption better than this show. He's still very much the Loki from the movies, but just healthier, happier and actually in good, healthy relationships.

Personal Reminder

This is an anti loki series blog so don't follow me if you're a fan of the show and if anything I actually hated the series for ruining said title character that I'm pretending that it never existed.

I'm also not a huge fan of the FF7 Advent Children movie because the overall plot was confusing for me that I'm more solely focused on the main games instead of the film.

Yeah I mostly just didn't watch any of the future movies/tv shows that came after IW/EG to the point where I just read a bunch of fics with the "everyone lives/nobody dies" tag cause I'm a sucker for giving my favorite characters their happy ending.

You know I was so angry at the Endgame/Infinity War story arc that I stopped watching all Marvel movies/tv shows. I decided that my idea of canon ended right before those two movies.

So the fact that I could’ve jumped on Tumblr and seen that everyone basically despised them… I could’ve commiserated with likeminded people this whole time.

This is honestly the main reason why I'm deciding not to watch Doomsday as I can already tell that the reunion will not be very happy considering that this "Loki" isn't the one we all know and love so I practically lost all hope and faith for this movie.

P.S. Still hate the show for ruining him in the first place that I'm pretending that it didn't exist

I had an idea that would have been a perfect "What If" episode where Thor actually fell with Loki from the bifrost and together they navigate through an unknown planet, slowly reconcile, and protect each other from the Chitauri.

Since Thor doesn't have Mjolnir when he fell, Loki would be the one protecting him with his magic, and eventually during mid-battle this is the part where Thor realizes that the power was with him all along.

Witnessing this Loki would then embrace his true heritage as a Jötunn and finally use his ice powers that he resisted for so long.

The episode ends with the Asgardians finding them as they both announce their newly forged bond as kings.

I highly agree with you on this and I'm honestly glad that I didn't watch this absolutely disgusting disappointment of a show for a lot of reasons that I don't even know where to begin and don't get me started with those ships.

THE REAL LOKI SHOW

in another universe, we have a loki show with main loki as the protagonist, set after ragnarok, where he finally understands what it means to be a true leader..rebuilding asgard with thor, reflecting on the past, accepting it, exploring his jotun side, and forgiving himself.

loki accepts his role as the rightful king of jotunheim. he was the destroyer, now he is the savior. he saved his people. he is loved. he has thor. he is home.

we should have moved forward, not backward. not by tearing loki away from everything and making him never return. we could have had a true god of stories...still a trickster, still free, but one who had made amends where he could, with people who had wronged him, who were done wrong by him. His past is not erased but worn with pride because he had grown.

thor and loki were born to be kings, and now they ascend the throne together. their father was wrong.

i hate how they killed loki after he made a free choice..when for the first time, he did what he wanted, not what was expected of him. he returned to save thor and asgard. he finally knew what truly made him happy. he had thor. it was enough. but…

we wanted a loki show about loki, his struggles, his growth, his story.. resolved with the people who shaped him from the beginning. not a show about fixing some made-up problem with the loom that didn’t even exist before season 1. S1 was dedicated to create the problem and S2 was dedicated to fix the created problem.

we got this abomination instead of a loki centric story WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK

For me it was Jack x Pitch because of the age gap that made me really uncomfortable despite being immortal which is why I'm more of a Sandy x Pitch shipper since they're technically both adults and had a long history together and I'm very disappointed that there are very few blacksand fics especially the ones that are post-movie and redemption arcs.

You know how canonically Robbie has Insomnia and yet he still remained sane because normally people would slowly descent into madness due to lack of sleep so for him having to deal with it literally everyday it's amazing that he still managed to retain his sanity and it's terrifying to imagine as to what if he did just straight up went insane.
