i'm working with some absolutely wonderful people on a digital star wars zine centered around halloween, and contributor applications are open! currently, our zine's blog is having a little issue with posts appearing in the tags, but we want to make sure that the folks on tumblr still get the chance to apply if they're interested :) we're looking for writers, artists, and merch artists to help up bring a little bit of spooky to the galaxy far, far away 🎃

Seeing as I doubt we'll get many applications, you should get a response in the upcoming days. The apps will be open until December 10th, 2024! If you're looking to just join as a contributor, keep an eye open! More should come in the upcoming weeks!

Children of the Force is a non-profit Star Wars fan zine dedicated to exploring the lives, growth, and inner conflicts of the Padawans within the Jedi Order. Focusing specifically on original Padawan characters created by the Star Wars fan community, this zine delves into the personal struggles, triumphs, and challenges faced by these young Force-sensitives as they navigate the trials of both the Clone Wars and their own paths within the Order.

We are now moving into the production period, which will take a few months as the zine is printed and the merch is made. Keep an eye on our socials, as we will make posts regarding production updates and important dates.

🧁We have decided that sales for the digital version of the zine will remain open during the production period. These PDF/ePub copies are available for purchase here: https://batchedzine.bigcartel.com/

Please note that the Single Serving bundles will be sent via email once the physical purchases are being shipped; that way, everyone receives the zine at roughly the same time.
