So I know most people don’t like to hear me out when I talk about Double life especially the divorce quartet but listen…

Last life - Cleo gets backstabbed by BigB and joins the Scottage, then becoming the 3 G’s (Gaslight, Gatekeep, Girlboss)

Double life - Martyn drags Pearl into the nether like literally pushed her into the portal.

Cleo says to Scott that they should ditch their soulbounds and becoming soulmates together. Scott (petty) agrees.

The 4 meet up, Cleo & Scott announce they are ditching Martyn & Pearl. When Pearl gets defensive Cleo sides with Martyn and they all put the blame on Pearl.

Martyn then leaves Pearl alone in the woods.

The 4 all go off and build their bases. Word spreads about Pearl being crazy and such and at fault for everything. Cleo goes behind Scott’s back and tells Martyn when they turn red they’re going to backstab Scott….

The finale: Cleo & Martyns attempt to backstab Scott fails they go and kill Pearl. (Mention Martyn & Cleo don’t get along so this doesn’t end well they just wanted to win)

Cleo knew that Pearl could easily kill her. She also knew that Scott had won last life (Pearl placed 5th) She had to somehow separate Scott & Pearl and did so by Gaslighting Scott…

In this whole process she not only ended up Gaslighting Scott, Martyn, & the other lifers but the ENTIRE fandom as well!

Anyway we don’t call Cleo gaslight for no reason 😉

scott lures pearl into the voidnet. the obvious play here would be to have his sword out to hit her off the edge when she comes after him, because otherwise, he's dead meat. but he doesn't. he has his shield out.

he even had his sword out on instinct initially before purposefully switching to a shield because he realised if he hit her off the edge she'd die. he's in a dead end; if he doesn't hit her off the edge here there's here nowhere for him to run to. she would be able to just kill him and he would die. yet he's taking the risk of dying just because he doesn't want to hurt her even when she's his enemy and has been trying to kill him constantly. AUGH....

the fact he has no intent to kill her nor does he even have his sword out to hit her off with makes the conversation hey have only all the more ironic:

Scott: Do you wanna — do you wanna risk it? Pearl: I don't think I want to, I think you'll easily just hit me off into the void, I'm not that — I'm not — well, I might be dumb, but I'm not that dumb!

pearl is scared to go after scott because she thinks he'll knock her off into the void with his sword and permakill her. scott says that if she goes after him he'll knock her off into the void with his sword and permakill her.

scott doesn't even have his sword out. and i think that says something. i think that says a lot.

Who else can't stop thinking about how galaxy duo r getting sillier and putting double life behind them? It's adorable- like there's some sort of friendly rivalry there and pearl saying she wants to kill Scott when really she is wants to mess with the guy and Scott knowing it is just KKSKKSKS besties. Like them simple lifejsjssjs AND LIKE I haven't moved on from wild life and them having matching hoodies and Scott giving pearl a life in wlind life??? AGHHHHHHH....

if i had a nickel for everytime a person i'd just met/barely knew came onto me and started asking for a romantic relationship while blatantly ignoring my boundaries and discomfort with the agegap to the point of pulling the 'age is just a number' argument i'd have two nickels. which isn't alot but,

I feel like most Smajor fics I see are just using Scott as a treatment for another character’s trauma. My boy is hurting too. Somebody love on him :( I’ve seen a couple of Majorwood fics where Martyn cares for Scott and a couple of Scottpulse fics surrounding that theme too and also one Smajor/JoeHills fic but like. Why is he just a tool in all of the main ships he’s in. Why is Jimmy never there for Scott? Why can’t Tango ever comfort Scott through a breakdown? Why does everyone think that Scott has it together all of the time? Why do people always ignore Scott’s insecurities? It’s always “Jimmy and/or Tango is insecure and now Scott has to fix it”. Why wouldn’t Scott be struggling with his self-worth? Why can’t Scott feel underappreciated? Why can’t Scott feel forgotten and abandoned and lonely? This is why I’m a SkizzScott truther. They would be there for each other. It wouldn’t be one person putting all of their time and effort into the other.

Also whoever wrote that JoeHills fic, I don’t necessarily see your vision but I do support you. Also Redstone Snap fans. Y’all are crazy, but you’re cool. It’s mostly Flower Husbands that I have a problem with. I see so many fics where Jimmy is sad and doesn’t put effort into his relationship with Scott and Scott’s whole purpose is his relationship with Jimmy. It makes me sad, and I would maybe like the ship more if Jimmy cared a little more about Scott. I feel like Scott gets a lot of trad house wife treatment, like he’s not a real person.

Edit: Fanart, too. Scott is rarely ever the center of shipping fanart, I feel, which is sad considering I think he’s got one of the more interesting character designs :(
