Idk what my dad was 'cause I never knew him, but yeah my mom is (or... Was.. I guess..) Muscogee, the tribe native to the part of Alabama I'm in.

If I remember correctly she came to Alabama from Oklahoma (where a lot of Natives were displaced to in the 1800s) to "get back to her roots."

But yknow, I was separated from her in childhood (which tbh is upsettingly common for Native families) and I was raised in a very white very Catholic asylum so I'm not as connected to the culture as I'd like to be.

the scene where anthony tells kate that he wants to go to India so that their child knows their history and that he does too is so important especially for brown girls who are so often told to focus on integrating into their new households and forget their family once they get married. it really shows how much he values all parts of kate’s identity and who she is beyond just being viscountess, a wife, a future mother, etc. and then kate’s reaction of being fully and completely overwhelmed because she could never have imagined that he would be the one to bring it up, let alone being there for the birth makes me so emotional 😭

Like when I see people use the concept of "Oh he's a bad parent because he's not emotionally or physically present for his kids!" Have you considered that depression makes doing that incredibly difficult? Like it's actually a key part of depression that it makes it way harder for people to do things they want to do or be around people or even move?

Tags are there for a reason. I dont block the "anti-timebomb" tag, because sometimes i like to read their opinions and found arguments (that i dont post, i just like making up arguments in my head, it's my special interest).

But the thing is that, i read 'anti-timebomb' post under MY own making. When i started reading that post who was badly tagged, i was hit in the face with hate for every ship beside of course Jayvik (some of the shippers act like they are straight from heaven for god sake, take the fujoshi vibrator OUT of your pussy for a second.)

My point is. Do NOT maintag anti-post with what you hating on. If it's Anti-Timebomb do NOT tag it Timebomb. If it's Anti-Caitvi, do NOT tag it Caitvi.

You know who you are btw. You know who you are because you've made those post two times, you were petty enough to put every anti-ship tag and every ship tag under your post. MANA(mod): I have to make some things clear about my character’s dynamic. I’ll provide with what I have currently. Some characters are still undeveloped since I’m busy with assignments. My fault I haven’t drawn their dynamic as much, I plan to do that in the future. So, alternatively I’m writing about it.

Jane and Sheila’s dynamic: They weren’t supposed to be Buddy-Buddy with each other. They won’t have a friendly nor healthy dynamic with each other. Jane has hunted down Sheila and even though she’s unsuccessful at killing her, Sheila would experience some form of trauma. (I mean Jane did kill Sheila’s parents in front of her, willingly) Or at least grow some gray hairs by how stressed out she would be. Having to be on a planet you know nothing about and struggling to survive, while having to watch out for Jane. Along with Jane absolutely hating Sheila. Sheila is the main reason Jane went blind in the first place, along with how she has been abusing Jane. Whether it’d be from neglect, verbal abuse, throwing objects at her or nearly destroying her.

Jane hasn’t been fixed by the solver, though possible, it’s just a tactic used to keep her constantly spiteful. Yes, Jane doesn’t think for herself, that’s why she’s constantly following her “instincts”.

ANOTHER THING, Jane doesn’t hate Viv just because she cannot understand romance. It was a late change but considering what she went through, she wouldn’t have time for romance. As of now, Viv’s and Jane’s dynamic is professional/platonic. I can’t go into depth since Viv is severely underdeveloped. I didn’t want Viv’s only purpose to be a love interest for Jane.

TLDR: Sheila was intended to be evil, no way did I want her to be change or be friendly towards Jane. Jane has her own reasons to hate Sheila and wouldn’t want to bond with her. Jane cannot understand the idea of romance but it doesn’t mean she hates Viv.

Just because Sheila treats N nicely doesn’t mean she treats him as an equal. For one, she doesn’t see him beyond being another mindless drone servant. She likes the authority she has over him, and with him being more naive like Jane once was, she takes advantage of that.

N is a grown ass man, he knows what a crush is. He doesn’t have dick or balls but he is smart enough to understand what words mean. He’s kind, not a child, I don’t want anyone to think he’s a child.

Redeeming Features of New York

- Food is decent

- TI headquarters building is nice
