SEASON 7 RENEWAL of ARROW

Hi everyone ! Hope you are all doing well.

Feeling a little down and uncertain about Season 7 renewal of Arrow lately— mostly because we haven’t heard Hide nor hair about it from the powers that be( the CW, the writers, or the actors). I don’t think the CW or the writers are the hold ups in this equation. I think the actors probably are - and more specifically, the only actors on the show that really matter- OTA.

So I’m opening up this thread to see what the rest of you think ( Yes to Season 7 of Arrow or No to Season 7 of Arrow) and why you think the way you do.

I’m hoping that all of your bright and beautiful minds can cheer me up a bit

Why I love Alias

Alias aired from 2001-2006 and, for me, it was MUST SEE T.V.  Our hero was a kick-ass woman by the name of Sydney Bristow.

She was a master of disguise, a martial arts and language expert, and a strong, smart, independent woman.

She could take care of herself and hold her own with the “boys.”

It didn’t hurt that she had an AMAZING Spy Daddy :)

ANd a wonderful supporting cast of characters, friends and foe alike.

And it actually had an ending that didn’t suck.

SO...a strong, smart woman, an amazing supporting cast, stunts, exotic locals, and a satisfying ending?!  WHo could ask for more?!

I have a theory.  

We know this season has been about Felicity walking in Oliver’s shoes a bit.  Paralleling him. Learning to understand him a bit better.

She’s also been dealing with the aftermath and the guilt of killing people.  On a ridiculously large scale.

What if there is one more parallel she needs to understand?

“He had you and he was going to hurt you. There was no choice to make.”

How do they defeat Chase? By being unpredictable.  What’s unpredictable?

Felicity Smoak kills Chase.

Chase has Oliver.  Chase has Thea.   And Digg.  And William.  And the team.  There’s no choice for Felicity to make.  She can’t let Oliver become the man Chase made him out to be, but she can take that burden.

“You don’t have to carry that burden any longer.  Let me do it.”

What will Season 7 of Arrow Look like?

Seeing William in the bunker with an Arrow in his hand made me think that this might be one of those moments of foreshadowing we have seen on this show before. Could William be destined to follow in the footsteps of his father? An archer with Oliver’s skill but Felicity’s brains?

Then I started thinking that maybe Season 7, if it is the last, may take place several years in the future. William is in his 20’s and is well established in the Arrow cave as the Green Arrow #2. Only William isn’t the only Queen child - there is also a young girl in her teens. Thus, providing Olicity shippers what they want most - a child produced by the love that Oliver and Felicityhave for each other. But also, no infant or toddler in the Arrow cave.

What do you think guys? Is this a possibility for Season 7? Or have I completely lost focus?

I’m actually hoping it has something to do with EBR since she was in the production office today.

Where was Raisa?

Hey guys

Does anyone else find it really odd that Raisa- the woman who practically raised Oliver , was not at the wedding reception? Was she there and I just missed it? Was the actress unavailable ? Or was there some other plot reason why she wasn’t there? ( Anatoly? Anatoly?Anatoly?)

Just curious if anyone else has an opinion on this.

Quick thought on 6.07

Good morning everyone. I hope that everyone had a joyous and restful thanksgiving.

I had a quick thought/observation about 6.07. I am not an attorney so excuse my comments if they do not have legal merit. I am really worried about Felicity using investor money to bail out Oliverfrom jail. Wouldn’t this be fraud or misappropriation of funds? Lord knows I own a very small business and feel the weight of the law crawling up my colon every time I make a decision and I’m not dealing with the kinds of money that Felicity is—— sooo I’m wondering if this act might “ unleash the hounds of war on Felicity” and at least open up the prison storyline for her

Very Scary Spec for Season 7 of Arrow

Hope everyone is doing well today

I have been ruminating over a very scary spec for a little while now regarding Season 7 of Arrow.

What if Oliver really does get convicted, gets sentenced to prison , breaks out and continues to fight crime as a fugitive?

This would certainly change how Arrow looks next Season

Believe me when I say that I am 99.9 % sure that this doesn’t happen and 100% sure I don’t want it to happen - especially if Felicity is pregnant.

Felicity and Oliver falling...

I absolutely love Felicity Smoak and Oliver Queen :)  Seeing them fall in love has been a slow, slow burn.  I know what Stephen and Emily have said about when their characters started to fall in love but I started to seriously ship Olicity in Season One.  Several moments come to mind.

He wants to look out for her...

And, of course, this moment~ BAM!  That’s it, I was gone!

Remember, this was still while Laurel was the supposed love of his life.  I wasn’t sure I’d ever see Oliver and felicity in a romantic relationship bit I knew they BURNED up the screen.  What made you fall for our fav couple?
