Hello, THE INTERNET IS BEING CUT OFF IN GAZA, and people are finding it more and more different to connect with the world. Khetam and her family need more people to keep sharing what's happening, keep sharing their story, keep donations flowing and keep supporting her, we need to continue to amplify Gazan voices, we need the world to hear these crimes against humanity as the internet is being cut. In Gaza, people are being deliberately and systematically starved to death, the little aid that is getting in is dangers to recieve, as these "GHF aid centres" have mass casualty events every single day, killing many starving Palestinians, this is not how you deliver aid.

Food is a basic human right, everyone should have the right to live and to live in saftey and security, not with the threat of bombing and starvation hanging over their heads each day. A loaf of bread should be in every kitchen, and people should not have to worry about dying to get aid, and basic supplies should not be a daily battle.

Due to the war, the lack of any source of income, and the high prices of basic necessities, I, as a head of a family of four children, created a donation link on GoFoundMe and collected $190. GoFoundMe and I do not know why they suspended my account, even though I have been in contact with them for a whole month. I've been thinking recently that GoFundMe screenshots may be easier to read than Tumblr's fonts, at least for me? (Love feedback on that btw!!) So I'll lead you through his own words on his GoFundMe, and add my own summaries and contextualization🩷

So far from the goal🥺 His campaign is going slowly. The prewar pictures show a comfortable, normal life that was violently ripped from them. Let's help them build it back, they deserve it.

He's 35, like me. He has a wife named Aya and three kids ages 11, 7, and 3. Imagine caring for such young children without adequate shelter from the elements nor everyday supplies.

The genocide stole their shelter, source of income, even extremely basic supplies (food, clean water, hygiene items, medical supplies, blankets, all the things that make life bearable, especially for a family with small children).

They are staying in Gaza and rebuilding their home rather than evacuating. They need our help surviving and hopefully with enough support, thriving.

Ameer especially, the 3-year-old, needs food and care -- his little brain (and all the children's) is still developing!!!!! Let's give those kids hope in the midst of the worst of "man's inhumanity to man."

because it's too dangerous.

The baby and the little girl need funds for medical attention.

They also need food, a basket to carry it in, winterization supplies, and evacuation funds.

The flow of money coming in from her GoFundMe needs to increase because the current trickling is not enough for her to even get all her supplies, let alone save up for evacuation --

and they need to get away from the bombing ASAP.

Living with the bombing is giving them PTSD, and they could get blown up at any moment.

Hey everyone, thank you so much for caring about me, especially displaced people who have reached out to me. Right now is a difficult time, I almost checked myself into the psych ward yesterday. Your kindness to me is showing me we are a community. A community of equals, which is why we call it mutual aid. I stand in solidarity with each of you. I am so, so, so sorry for being distant, even cold, and not responding to some of you. I do not feel like I deserve to speak to people affected by genocide, and I do not feel like I am doing nearly enough for you. My name is Abdelmajed Elderawi, and I am writing to you from Gaza, where life has become an unimaginable struggle. Our days are filled with uncertainty, and the hope for a better future feels like a distant dream.

The war has left deep scars on my family and me. We’ve endured the heartbreaking loss of 25 loved ones—each one a light extinguished too soon. Their absence is a pain I carry every day, and I often find myself lost in memories of the laughter and joy they brought into our lives.

I'm Ismail Almughanni an entrepreneur from devastated Gaza trying his best to rebuild his Bakery 🍞🥐🥖

On a quiet morning, the aroma of freshly baked bread filled the street, signaling the start of a new day at your small bakery, a place you took immense pride in. For years, this bakery had been a haven where people from all around would gather to enjoy the warm, delicious pastries and bread that you carefully crafted. It was a symbol of hard work, a beacon of hope, and a destination for anyone seeking a taste of comfort amidst life's challenges.

But one day, in the blink of an eye, everything changed. The sounds of bombing began to shake the city, and it wasn’t long before the fires of war reached your neighborhood. There was no warning, no chance to escape or save what you could. Shells rained down on the district that housed your beloved bakery. You watched helplessly from a distance, unable to do anything.

Minutes passed like hours. When the noise finally subsided, and the thick smoke that blocked out the sun began to clear, you looked towards your cherished place. It was destroyed.

The walls that once protected you and brought you closer to your customers had collapsed, and the oven where you had kindled the flames of hope had turned to ash. Everything was shattered, broken, as if that place had never been a sanctuary of peace and comfort.

But the destruction wasn’t just physical. The pain in your heart was far greater than any material loss, a place filled with beautiful memories now reduced to rubble. The moments when you saw smiles on people’s faces as they savored your bread, the laughter that echoed through the bakery—those were now just memories, dissolving in the ashes of devastation.

As days went by, you tried to piece together the fragments, not just of the bakery but of yourself as well. You knew rebuilding wouldn’t be easy, and the wounds left by the war wouldn’t heal quickly. But you also knew that the hope you had infused into your bread would remain alive in your heart, even if the tables and chairs were destroyed, even if the bakery itself was gone.

The bakery may have been destroyed by war, but its spirit lives on in you, in everyone who tasted your bread, and in everyone who walked into that small place and found a slice of happiness.
