Captain Swan Event

Hello, CS crew!! I come today with an event idea that has been tossed around in the discord server I run. (originally used for a different event >> CSMM) Okay, the new event  (Captain Swan Co-Storytellers Collaboration) would consist of groups of 3-4 people working together to write a captain swan story.  This is not a one person writes one part and passes on the document and so on until it reaches its end. No, this would be the ultimate team effort in an ensemble of amazing writers! Of course there are details to be ironed out but I wanted to know if anyone here was interested to join. I will share the form to get an idea of who is interested and for a way to contact anyone that wants to join in on the fun. As soon as I can I will reach out to you.

CS Fic Rec Monday: “Lost Souls and Reveries” by: @seriouslyhooked

Oh my goodness, this fic!!! If you missed this epic shifter!AU from the @cssns event than you have to go check it out now!  I admit to falling behind on it and having just now finished myself, but I am so glad I did. I loved the mystery, intrigue and excitement @seriouslyhooked wove all throughout this story, and how she brought the many plot threads together. The fated mates and the destiny of CS in it is truly beautiful, as are Emma’s relationships with her parents and friends, and Killian’s with Liam, Ruby, and Emma’s extended clan. They create a modern day pack, and I just couldn’t get enough of it.  I could keep gushing on this one for days - and @seriouslyhooked would deserve every bit of it. I think it is my all-time favorite story of hers, and that is saying something since I’ve enjoyed each of her stories that I have read!!

She has a planned sequel for this too, and left me so excited for it!  Don’t miss out and get caught up on “Lost Souls and Reveries”!!!

2024 part 2

CS Fic Rec Monday: “To See You This Way” by: @seriouslyhooked

This wonderful MC is just beautiful!!! It’s a modern AU, set in the real world, non-magical world. Yet, we still get to see a version of Emma and Killian who have ALWAYS been meant to be together, a gorgeous reunion and second chance- and tons of wonderfully rewarding straight-up fluff (and also very nice smuff too! 😉)

Plus, there’s author!Killian (literally one of my favorite things in fic) along with excerpts of his book all about he and Emma’s story. That really adds another wonderful layer of emotion and romance. This one really won’t disappoint especially if you’re looking for joy and happily ever after! 💗

Sprinting through the woods as fast as her legs would take her, Emma knew it was only a matter of time until she was caught. Still, she would do everything she could to buy more time and try and get away. She and her wolf were in complete agreement about this – she had to keep moving. She had no other choice. The rush of greenery around her was all new. These woods were unfamiliar, the area unknown, but instincts commanded her in the direction of the river. She ran and ran and ran, and she realized that if she could just get to the waterway, she could use the current to wash away any trace of her. That would buy her time, and what she needed more than anything was time. In wolf form, the frenzied pace of a run was different. As a human she saw flashes, never fully picking up on everything before her, but this way she felt and saw it all. The animals in the forest stood stock still in fear, or darted into the brush to get away. Birds squawked in alarm from the tree line, and she heard the flutter of wings taking flight even through the wind cutting past her ears. Still she kept moving, pushing, fighting, trying her best to stay ahead. When she finally reached the clearing and could see the river, she felt another rush. She’d done it! She made it! She just needed to –

Writing Update

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know that my writing in the next few weeks may be delayed. Long story short my hard drive crashed and I hadn’t backed up anything since the beginning of May... this means that two of the chapters I had written for ‘The Same Soul’ and another two for ‘Lost Souls and Reveries’ along with the starts to some mixtape chapters have been lost. I’m going to be rewriting them but it will obviously take some time.
