a/n: this is purely self indulgent and an impulsive write. not proof read at all i just wanted to write something with tall black!reader and albedo.

albedo x tall!black reader

groaning, you sat up in your bed, rubbing at your eyes. your bonnet was haphazardly on your head and you used sloppily put it back on.

albedo was still lying asleep next to you, slim form moving up and down slightly.

his pink lips were parted slightly and his hair was a mess. but he looked so peaceful, so beautiful. you leaned down towards him and gave him a soft kiss on the forehead. you spent some time studying him before you decided to move and go use the bathroom.

you walked across the cold floor, opening the door to the bathroom, and it let out a slight creak at the movement. you winced and turned around to check if albedo was still sleeping, but he did nothing but stir slightly and you let out a sigh in relief.

walking up to the mirror, you frowned slightly at the trail of dry drool at the corner of your lips. ignoring it you started brushing your teeth.

‘i’ll wipe it away later’ you thought.

you squeezed the toothpaste until a dollop was on your toothbrush and started brushing. resting a palm against the sink counter, you leaned slightly towards the mirror out of habit.

you stayed like this in silence before jumping slightly at the feeling of arms wrapping around your waist. you looked down to see the milky arms wrapped around you and smiled softly.

spitting you said

“good morning my love, you scared the shit out of me though.” his short frame only nuzzled further into your back and your heart melted.

“mornin. sorry.” yeah albedo wasn’t a morning person.

you guys stayed like that until you finished brushing your teeth, and you turned to move, but his arms were firmly wrapped around your waist, making no move to let go.

giggling you tried to pry his arms away, but the man was strong and he just pulled you further into his frame.

“come back to bed. stay.” he whispered the last word and your heart pounded in your chest. god how could you say no when he asked you so genuinely? so softly?

“bedo my love we both have to go to work today, we can’t stay in.” finally wringing yourself from his strong hold, and when you turned to face him, god was he a sight.

platinum hair was tussled around his face, his lips were pouting and his arms were reaching for you again, pulling you into his frame in a hug. sometimes he was like this. cuddly. when he woke up from a hard time the previous day, he always woke up extremely touching, always wanting to be around you, just for a while longer.

“fine,” he grumbled, turning away from you to brush his own teeth. you giggled at his actions and exit the bathroom to check the time on your bedroom clock. you still had time to make breakfast and shower.

making your way to the kitchen, you got all the ingredients until your eyes happened to catch something. a lot of something. the window was completely white. it was snowing. and it was snowing heavily.

“SNOW!!!” you exclaimed. snow meant snow day. and snow day meant, the possibility of being able to stay inside and cuddle with albedo.

in excitement you rushed to the door and tried to pull it open. barred shut!

you ran back to the kitchen and quickly finished off the breakfast and set it on the table.

“ALBEDO COME OUT HERE!” you screamed

“coming,” his soft voice came out from the bedroom. when he came out his hair was in its usual half up style and his cerulean eyes were were more awake, but he was still pouting.

“snow day!” you squealed.

“is the door barred shut?”

“yup!” his eyes were immediately alight and a small smile was on his face.

y’all basically wolfed down that breakfast, and rushed to the bedroom.

you guys ran to the room and once you both lied down, you scooped his shorter frame into your arms and nuzzled your head into his neck, the both of you sighing in content. the two of your bodies breathed in unison, slowing down slightly until you were both fast asleep.

you guys spent the whole day cuddling.

like! the only reason i did that at all was bc i wanted to call tallpoppy “poppy” bc i rlly love when the cats do nicknames and she was the first one where i was like oh her SUFFIX can be the nickname instead of her prefix

and idk any of her family or close friends so i figured blackstar would be. plausible enough.

then i immediately got comments asking if they were dating which i had NOT considered but i keep coming back to it and. sure. thats my canon now. can their ship name be blackpoppy
