i have noticed that some people interpret i saw the tv glow sometimes purely through the lens of binary transness and while its certainly valid if it speaks to them, pidgeonholding it as a binary narrative and acting like thats the only valid viewpoint when the director and writer is nonbinary it feels like unnecessary and wrong gatekeeping. its about the trans experience in general but to exclude nonbinary people from the conversation. to quote that one person, what are we doing here?

literally, I cannot believe I had to read that post. What do these people think they're doing by literally revoking nonbinary people's right to tell their own stories??

Why do these people think that if binary trans people can also relate to it, that means it's the exclusive property of binary trans people??? When the literal creator is nonbinary??? And writing writing from their own experiences???

At long last: either an alternate explanation for or continuation of my prior comic regarding how Bill was ABSOLUTELY naked in Ford's karaoke night drawing. (Because errors in art do not exist. Artists do not make mistakes. So if you see any in this comic, No You Do Not.)

I am so normal about these old dorks.

I'm not really clear on exactly when Bill started throwing his desperation book at Ford just like a needy ex do, but I find it extremely funny to imagine it happening literally the day of or after the makeshift funeral. Bill just gets this weird sense of 'Ford is taking steps to move on' and CANNOT FUCKING ABIDE.

I hope you enjoy all the goofy things I added to each page of Bill's sad spieling. (Everything SHOULD be readable so long as you view the full size, but I have added basically this whole little fanfic in the image descriptions, LMAO, which lays out all the little written notes and such.) Also don't ask how Bill managed to sneak that vampire pen in there. I have no idea, and honestly? I don't wanna know.

Yes, its name is just 'love' backwards. No, I will not be taking any feedback on this. Yes, EV-01 was only ever assigned to Bill's case due to the Theraprism being desperate to make some progress in rehabilitating him. No, it did not work anywhere close to staff's expectations - Bill didn't even appreciate EV-01's matching fondness for bowties! (He claimed the fondness to be "cultural appropriation" and insisted he'd been traumatized by it.)

Since when was that a rule????? 🤣 (Also the one person who reblogged with the cropped panel where Bill's fishnets pants are falling off to ask why Bill peed himself. Dude, I want to examine your brain...?)

Okie-dokie, I'm sick of looking at all of this stuff now and I'm off to go to work, after which I will either scribble some more goofy "Billford" comics or perhaps draw my lame human!Bill in Situations, idk yet. wis really does just make every slight against salem somehow sawyers fault huh? Like people here discuss how salem only ever draws porn (multiple times, even) of one of wis' asexual characters, said thats a bit weird (its not even a big deal, just an observation), and wis writes a coke rant about how this is all apparently a complicated method to make salem want to date sawyer again. i dont think sawyer even commented once on the asexual furry porn. tbh. with her behavior, i genuinely believe she sees sawyer as a threat, to her and salem. why, i literally do not know. because her obsession with sawyer, would make me upset, if i were her partner. how is it she can post paragraph after paragraph, about how this random person is evil. but cannot bother to write more than a sentence or a keysmash, on salem's art. she can tear apart other artists, for being "one note andys", or for making music that isnt her cup of tea, but cannot even think of anything positive or constructive to say, on art she likes.

So, let me help you. In the future, when you comment on a writer’s work, try this instead:

“I loved this! I particularly liked (insert favorite part here). This made me feel (insert emotions here). Thank you so much for blessing my dash with this masterpiece. I would love to see more of these characters.”

This is so much more constructive. I’ve received comments like this before and, let me tell you, I got to work on that next chapter almost immediately (even if I hadn’t originally planned to write one).

On that note, thank you to the people who have stuck with me this long, who leave amazing comments, who reblog, who keysmash in the tags. You encourage me and make this all worth it ❤️
