Demon Eddie this, Demon Eddie that…take a minute to picture Demon STEVE

Theres so much fun to be had with that. Maybe that’s how he got to the top, favours and exchanges

People come to him with requests and they don’t know how, but he always gets it done.

And then they owe him.

It becomes a thing for him to jokingly go “you owe me!” With a big smile, but they literally do. And he always cashes in, but usually just for small things he wants in the moment. Like a spare cigarette or a drink at a party.

And hey! Maybe Eddie DOES try to summon demons…

And one night, after he’s playing dress up as a satanist, he finally manages to summon one successfully.

Not that he knows that, all he knows is that Steve Harrington is knocking on his door all of a sudden.

Stupid puffy hair and goofy grin staring at him while he leans in.

“You called?”

And Eddie looks towards the phone slowly and back to Steve. Because no, no he didn’t.

He’s too tired and high to even pretend to be polite, just shutting the door in his face before leaning against it with a deep sigh.

But when he opens his eyes, Steve is stood there. In his trailer. As if Eddie didn’t just block his only way in and- okay, yeah. His eyes are fucking red.

He probably shouldn’t have used that book.

Stanis chuckled at his antics, surprised but amused enough by it to keep the smile on his face.

"Sounds let quite the useful, and hellish skill to have." He did not like the idea of someone in his mind. But looked like there was not too much to be done, he had seen some of the others discuss practicing for it though. It made him wonder who else could do this. A man could grow paranoid with this kind of thing.

"Huh... well, seems like the stuff we'll need if we are going off fighting for our parents." He wondered what sort of thing he'd be capable of, now he was fully awakened as a son of Hades. "And how has that fared?"

"Sure, lead the way. I haven't been around most of the place so far, really."

Cold metal is pressed into the palm of his hand, delicate fingers slowly wrapping around the shiny piece of gold. "How kind, I'll cherish it always." Raising the gift up he brings it to his lips before gently pressing a kiss against the metal accompanied by a cheeky wink to the child of Hades.

"Yes... and yes." His head tilts to the side as he let's their gazes lock. "I can hear that. Not that I try to, it's something I'm working on though. Keeping other's thoughts out that is." His shoulders shrug nonchalantly, the fact he can hear peoples minds like they're being screamed at him not really bothering the boy. But he knew some people liked their privacy, and he was trying his best to be respectful here.

"No fights, but they've been putting us through intensive training." He reflexively stretches at the thought of the training Chiron had been putting him through. "Hearing what an opponent is thinking can be helpful, I've also been working on creating weapons out of my thoughts. Have you gone to the training grounds yet? I'd be happy to show you to them."

My latest knitting project is a ludicrous idea - a large Shetland ring shawl in yarn so thin it's basically thread. I am aiming to knit this for my wedding which is possibly next year, and it almost certainly won't be finished by then. I will try to update here as I progress and face the consequences of my hubris. Top image is my progress so far on the edging of the first border. Bottom image is a completed project by Ravelry user Q-knitter.

It's been a few weeks since Jameson mauled Reid, hahaha. When he finally pulls himself out of the bed at Scarletts Inn, he finds himself much too tired and achy to do whatever sort've job she's going to ask of him today.

Jameson pulls his legs over the side of his bed and sits there a moment, his palms pressed over his eyes. After a few seconds like that, he finally stands and gets dressed, stomping into his boots and leaving the room.

He makes his way to the counter to look for Scarlett, rubbing his eye. He looks kind of haggard, and to be quite frank, he looks like he’s sick. “What was it you wanted me to do, again?”

Guess who found SIX THOUSAND YARDS of black 100% cotton thread at the thrift store?!! (Minus the outer layer, which I removed because it was faded and dirty.) It smells a bit musty but it's still in good condition!

It may sound like an infinite supply of thread, but I've used up more than twice that amount at my part time alterations job in the past 5 years.

I'm going to have to either wind it onto normal sized spools to use it, or set up one of those arm with wire loop thingies that industrials have so I can set it on the table, because huge cones like this just don't work on the little pins on top of domestic machines.
