Body becomes tense as paw is forced upon the child’s face, claws and all. She’s not wrong, his paw covers her face perfectly - but that does not make the action right. Temper rises, blood boils, who does this child think she is ? Has she no fear of his monstrous form ? Quickly he pulls away, breaking her grasp. Temper is short, but he is still careful not to hurt her. She's annoying, yes, but she's still a child - he must control his instincts. It was odd to be referred to as a human, and head turned to see if the stranger was talking to someone else, someone far less … beastly, but there was no one else around. Most could not see the person within the beast, the human eyes that did not match animalistic body, but somehow the other did. If there was time he would question it, discuss it further, but there seemed to be much more pressing matters at hand.

Beastly body straightens, standing up taller, happy to be understood and listened to. He had expected a little more push back, being used to defiance and disobedience, he had even preemptively prepared for it, ready to assert his dominance if need be.
