Причем, 8 часть (Декабрь 2017) вышла перед Single Pale Rose (Май 2018) :D A sketch based on the joke that the Prince's (Duke's) holiday outfit from Part 8 (Three heroes and Princess of Egypt) is similar to Pink Diamond's outfit. However, part 8 (December 2017) was released before Single Pale Rose (May 2018) :D

So, turns out "inauguration" can both mean "already in power" and "nominated to be in power some time later", lmao.

Since it seems like Gort is done playing nice with the nobles "voting" for him, I assume he's in power already. So I went back and corrected a quip in the very first paragraph of my fic xD.

I didn't do a ball fic, bc I thought he wasn't officially Archduke yet - but I'm gonna do it now. Be ready, it's gonna get dark ]:-]

Btw, any of you aware of the ancient slavic title "kníže/князь"? I love that one. And I hate that there isn't an English equivalent that sounds as... soft, yet royal. The sound itself is like a caress of silk and gold. "Archduke", though, seems like the closest thing to it - judging by the last Austrian monarch being officially called Archduke ("kníže" in these parts).

Sooo........... I didn't stand a chance, did I? xD It's like Gortash was specifically written to bewitch people like me. Well done, Larian. Such a shame you didn't actually build on it - but no worries, I gotcha xD
