«Танцующие» деревья морских болот, остров Сумба.

Мангровые заросли, расположенные на острове Сумба, сложно назвать просто лесом, но именно эти деревья привлекают туристов на остров и являются его самой большой достопримечательностью. Секрет их невероятной притягательности в том, что эти деревья невероятно красивы, особенно в лучах заходящего солнца. Их можно увидеть на пляже Валакири, одном из самых живописных пляжей острова. Мангровые деревья на пляже с белым песком омываются кристально чистой водой. Характерной особенностью этих деревьев является их странная форма, они как будто застыли – перестали танцевать. Вы не найдете здесь двух одинаковых или похожих изогнутых деревьев, каждое из них прекрасно по-своему… На закате морская вода отступает, обнажая корни мангровых зарослей, и вот тогда происходит волшебство.

"Dancing" trees of the sea swamps, Sumba Island.

The mangroves located on Sumba Island can hardly be called just a forest, but these trees are what attract tourists to the island and are its biggest attraction. The secret of their incredible appeal is that these trees are incredibly beautiful, especially in the rays of the setting sun. They can be seen on Valakiri Beach, one of the most picturesque beaches on the island. Mangrove trees on the white sand beach are washed by crystal clear water. A characteristic feature of these trees is their strange shape, they seem to have frozen - stopped dancing. You will not find two identical or similar curved trees here, each of them is beautiful in its own way … At sunset, the sea water recedes, exposing the roots of the mangroves, and that's when the magic happens.

Живёт и умрёт, как холоп.

For comparison, in a hospital operating room, no more than 500 non-pathogenic microbes are allowed per cubic meter of air — and in a pine grove, at a height of about one and a half meters, the number of microorganisms is about the same: no more than 600.

Сосна обыкновенная (лат. Pínus sylvéstris) среди болот🌱

Сосна выделяет огромное количество фитонцидов – летучих активных веществ антибиотического действия. Поэтому воздух в сосняке чистый, почти стерильный. Если в больнице в операционной в одном куби­ческом метре воздуха допускается наличие не более 500 непатогенных микробов, то и в сосно­вом бору на высоте полутора метров ��икроорга­низмов имеется примерно столько же - не бо­лее 600.

Swamp Kikimora ✨️🐸

Found some kid's drawing in class and really liked the desing. How do you like the makeover?

Kikimoras are the naughty spirits in Slavic mythology.

🌿 Swamp Kikimora is one of the types of Kikimoras, although, as it seems to me, it is this type that people have heard about the most. As well as a home Kikimora, it is considered an evil spirit that does nothing but trouble. Swamp Kikimoras differ only in their place of residence, appearance and a number of animals in which they can transform. Kikimoras can also become invisible and know how to light swamp lights that beckon travelers into dangerous swamps with their light. Vile and playful creatures. Usually they come from the restless souls of girls who disappeared in the swamps

I myself would be interested in learning more about them and finding out how Swamp Kikimoras differ from Swamp Mermaids besides their appearance. Maybe it's all about their negative reputation, although all that differs from tale to tale 🍃
