BIO

Camilo Arturo Madrigal was born as the fourth eldest grandchild in the Madrigal family, only older than Mirabel and Antonio. Camilo was known as a bit of a wild child. While he was not disrespectful or rude in any manner, he enjoyed making people laugh, as well as pulling pranks on others. His sense of humor was unmatched within his family, and it seemed he always needed to be doing something.��

Throughout school Camilo was known as a prankster, someone who was always able to relieve any tension with a joke, or a little bit of intervention. He was charming and sweet, and while straight-A’s weren’t ever really on the table for him, school wasn’t something he absolutely detested. His grades were decent enough, and his teachers always enjoyed having him in class. 

Friendships and relationships with others always came easily to Camilo- his charm, friendliness, and willingness to help anyone who required it tended to win him a place in the heart of any and everyone he came across. Helping others, taking care of them, and making sure they felt comfortable and seen were priorities to Camilo, even with his slightly mischievous nature.

Nothing Camilo ever did was meant to be harmful or hurtful in any manner, his only goal ever being to ensure others were happy. After going through the bulk of school, Camilo realized it was time to decide what he’d do with his life, what his goals were, and what he wanted for his future. While teaching may not have seemed overtly logical to everyone, his drive to help others indicated it would be the perfect career for him. And, his laid-back nature made the elementary school level perfect. After finishing his degree, he took a teaching position in Bounds Bay, as the kindergarten teacher.

Camilo rents and lives in a small house just inside town. He lives alone, save for his pet Iguana, whom he named Fred.

Despite having grown up in a family that seemed to always be cooking something, Camilo is dreadfully unprepared and lacks in culinary skill. Most nights, he grabs dinner from the same diner in town. 

More than just about anything, Camilo loves music. He incorporates it into nearly all his lessons, and always has it playing around his home, even just for background noise.
