🕊️ BIOGRAPHY – CORE BACKSTORY

Born in Hope County, Montana, Terra is the daughter of Evelyne Lyon (a French Olympian swimmer) and Benjamin Woodson (a once-charming, eventually alcoholic ex-CEO). While Benjamin was traveling for work, Eli Palmer (who is secretly her biological father) would raise her and teach her how to ride a bike, drive a car, how to use a bow and shoot with a gun - however Evelyne always said that he was a family friend.

Hurk Jr. and Sharky babysat Terra when she was a child, taught her how to drive a quad at age 9, how to build a makeshift flamethrower at age 10, how to fish with dynamite age 12, and had the ‘boy talk’ with her at age 13. Taught her what family means.  

Raised in a quiet home until her mother passed away of sarcoma when Terra was 15. Her father went into deep depression and denial after Evelyne’s passing, gambled away their money, Terra’s collage intuition and soon after her childhood home had to be sold due to the mortgage not being paid for several months. Adelaide Drubman was the one who sold the house, a longtime friend of Evelyne and Woodson’s. This left Terra emotionally isolated, abandoned and traumatized.

She spent her teens between working at the Spread Eagle, spending time with her friends (Hurk jr. Sharky, Jess and Wheaty partying, drinking and living life while dealing with Benjamin alcohol and gambling issues. Even helping Rachel (Faith) with her drug addiction.

Left Montana at 18 to pursue singing in Atlanta (Saw a job description on the internet at St. James for part-time jazz singing) where she met John Duncan—later John Seed—and unknowingly became the anchor to his unraveling.

Captured by Eden’s Gate at 23. Survived 13 months at John’s Gate, then transferred to the Seed Ranch, where she becomes mythologized as the “Angel of Eden.”

Manipulative reverence. He sees her as prophecy incarnate. She plays along but always keeps a sliver of herself untouched. Terra helped Jospeh back in Atlanta, when he worked as a garbage man she kneels and helps him pick up the trash that had spilled on the street.

Faith Seed (Rachel)

Tragic, lost love. They were close as teens. Terra was Rachel’s first crush. Now? It’s a haunting echo. Terra has tried to help Rachel several times to get clean, even offered to live as roommates to keep close watch over Rachel and guide her through healing. Rachel never healed.

Staci Pratt

Tender past love. Never sexual due to Eden’s Gate interruptions. Sweet and safe. Her guilt over leaving him still lingers. Met each other elementary school and heated each other, Staci though of her as a ‘Know it all’, but they boned when Terra’s mother was diagnosed with cancer.

she was a fairly timid but happy-go-lucky kid, always a little nervous meeting new people but would immediately open up once you got past that initial barrier

was fairly smart as well, her mom saw a lot of potential in her from a young age to make something of herself and was super encouraging, so was her dad

and it’s worth mentioning that while her parents didn’t have a lot of free time, they always tried to make it for her, they aren’t your basic neglectful rich parents but they are.. a bit much as of recently

so she grew up quite content all things considered, was well-mannered, enjoyed knowing that she was able to have whatever she wanted but never really exercised that until she was older, just an overall p chill girl

her parents divorced when she was sixteen and thankfully it was amicable and they’re still on good terms so !! the common rich, feuding divorced parents trope didn’t fuck her over

but upon entering uni, pressured into joining her parents’ alma mater, she came to realize that they were, for a lack of better words, grooming her to become just like her mother — who had worked her way to being cfo of her company about four years prior

and while becoming a high ranking employee for a business that she would be passionate about was something she was here for, that’s not the direction she seemed to be heading in

her mom is.. quite hard-headed, dictatorial in some ways, and mona’s major, residence and co-op programs were all decisions that she had talked her into, bc it would make mona’s life easier and so she could hand over the reins to an heir

and bc of that, mona slowly became more closed-off, she felt rather unhappy but knew that fighting her mom on these things would be useless, so her complaints always went ignored

it’s all kinda hard to explain tbh, but she’ll tell you straight up that the second worst moment in her life was being accepted into marketing, and that the worst was the day that she let her mother dictate her future in every aspect

which was also the day that she gave her mom’s business partner’s son a chance just to appease her and keep her quiet

she does care for the boy, he has his life together and is very kind and driven, but she isn’t in love with him and that’s perhaps the last thing to make her feel completely lost and displeased with herself

now they’ve been together for almost four years and she knows he’s going to propose soon; and while she doesn’t want this to happen, she’s all but accepted that this would be her life once she was no longer that happy, carefree child: appeasing others, feeling restricted, wishing she were someone else, somewhere else

entering the virtual world at complete random had her mortified, she didn’t know where the hell she was or what she was doing, but sooner or later she realized that here, she had the liberties she felt that she lacked and that had her intrigued

soon enough, she was dyeing her hair blue ( bc sofia with blue hair ?? o o f ) or whatever colour interested her, frequenting somewhat immoral places for the adventure and sleeping in past noon, something she hadn’t done in years

so now, coming to grips with the fact that here, she doesn’t have that looming engagement or her mother’s overbearing nature weighing her down, she can rediscover the girl that she once was in peace

that being said, she was a pessimist back in the real world, worn down by commitments and super indifferent about many things

like she didn’t care if she got hit by a car, mugged, anything — it just felt like another bearable inconvenience to an already exhausting life

blunt, a bit jaded and vexing, just a v odd, negative girl ??

lost a lot of respect for her mom even if she still loves her, this whole thing made her bitter towards the older woman and even others ?? so she feels a bit guilty about not wanting to go back even after all of that madness just after high school

here, she’s emerging from the cold hard exterior she’d seen slowly build itself up and desensitize her, she’s more fun-loving and becoming increasingly outgoing as time drags on

she’s not just some broken muse needing one person to fix her, she wants to do it on her own but knows that what brought her to that point were the people influencing her and calling the shots on her behalf, so finding people opposite of that to lend a hand seems practical to her

her loose morals here definitely conflict with those from before, especially when it comes to sex and love. the last thing that she wants to do is ruin her relationship despite her feelings within it, but she can feel her resolve slipping at times ( if it hasn’t already )

so chae hyunmi aka halle, ulsan born, raised in seoul and relocated to toronto, canada with her parents, little sis and partner to train bc..

she’s a figure skater, good enough to win ( .. junior ig ) titles when she was in her early teens, so it was only inevitable for her to leave for toronto to train with the Best eventually

she’s competed in international competitions, as part of a pair, and made her olympic debut in sochi by the skin of her teeth; her highest placement was third place ( not at sochi pls sgjkld she prob ranked in the top ten at best ), so she’s got a medal or two to her name

ultimately it was after sochi that she saw her coach and ( ex ) partner intervene with her.. unhealthy practicing habits

she’s a perfectionist through and through, so of course she’d spend hours on the ice at just seventeen/eighteen years old, even younger tbh, to get a routine right. but she pushed herself harder and harder, where small missteps would lead her to fall hard and recover for days on end, even spraining her ankle just before competition season was to begin

so when her coach insisted she take a break, her parents following suit, it was with good reason — one that she didn’t fucking see fsdkgkl

even so, them pushing her to prioritize education for a bit, to get ahead of the skaters who would prob only be able to do so upon retirement in a good few years’ time, and hanging up her skates until she saw it as.. less than something she needed to abuse herself to feel comfortable with, for as long as they would do so led to her resolve shattering and her applying for universities in canada, the us and sk ( the sly brat reasoned that it’d be nice to be reconnect with her roots.. for the sake of having something going for her beyond just competing in pyeongchang ! )

but the latter wound up being a bust bc she opted for asteria u, close to some of the popular yet secluded skate clubs the greats went to during their off-season training.. and before tr*mp got elected bc she would’ve cancelled everything, demanded her money and scholarships back, had she arrived after that LSDFGJFKLD

should be noted that her grades were good, she had a super brief volunteering stint and she’s a rising star ( well, was.. the bitch wouldn’t be competing again anytime soon to keep herself where she was within the skating circuit ) in her favoured sport, so she deemed all of this inevitable sfkljfdgk

though the school didn’t and still doesn’t offer its own skate club so, that was a slight drawback for the invested bitch

the transition wasn’t too hard ofc; she got comfortable with the campus and was back on the ice in no time, joining one of those aforementioned skate clubs under her parents’ noses and making the most of it as comeback/olympics prep

she saw herself as poised to be added to the roster once again, now a singles prospect after a major falling out with her longtime partner for one too many dumb bitch moves, and was desperate for it; however the stars didn’t align back in 2017 during her sophomore year, when she just missed obtaining qualification while now on canada’s roster on a technicality, and nothing could’ve compared to the agony that was missing her chance in something she invested sm practice, time and compliance with the people around her to pull through and get to pyeongchang

she’s still distraught over it, it’s been a couple of years since that happened and she gets emo real quick, misty-eyed if you bring it up ( she uh, has issues with moving on from things if you can’t tell )

suffice to say she resents her coach for his minor contribution in fucking her and himself over, dropped him out of anger ( a move she.. does feels bad abt on a personal level but professionally ?? pft ) and linked up with one back in toronto who she’ll begin seeing when she’s “ prepared ” to give it a shot again

meaning she’s currently on hiatus from the sport, but she knows a good few people think her career is Over now — and it pisses her the Fuck off

studying kinesiology despite wanting to be a skating coach when she retires as a competitor, bc she rly loves being active and thinks she’d be a resource in the field down the line ok ??

anyways, she’s found new things to invest her time in, such as the sorority, dance club and volleyball

dance helps with the choreo for her routines.... or Did, but we all know she’s still doing Some amount of skating on the side so

and it helps in areas where muscle memory and years of flexibility can’t quite do so

volleyball’s a great second option for her as a sport, mostly bc she can exert as much of her frequent frustration as possible into a game and act like it’s just her being into it. though she really can be That competitive, as you can see, rather than bratty

so she looks entitled from that alone

given the way i’ve played her in the past, ik she might come across as a hbic type: thinks she’s the best ( which.. she kinda does sjkfgd ), savours the power she tries to or does in fact exert, doesn’t come across as particularly sympathetic or nice, etc

but she’s just a shit disturber with thick skin and a slight kink for receiving admiration and respect, puts herself first a little too much

in fact, she doesn’t really Care to hold people by a leash, but yeah, it can come across much differently since her tone never really Shifts if she doesn’t know you well, doesn’t trust you, knows you’re naive with such things, doesn’t like you, is just fucking around or in a sour mood.... the list goes on

This is my first ever one-shot, fanfic, sort of post so bear with me if it is really bad.

The idea for this is how I think the Across the Spider-verse characters would react to you kissing them with lipstick on. Be warned it will probably be horrifically ooc or maybe it won’t, never tried writing from another characters perspective before. Tried to be gn!Reader but might lean a little more to the feminine side. It’s also not in any particular order.

Miles Morales

This boy would be a mix of nervous and flustered at the same time. Bonus points if you grab his face while you kiss him, he would short circuit in a second. He’d bounce back after a minute but still be pretty flustered, would definitely stumble over his words while trying to act like he’s ok. Would try to hide how red his face is by covering them with his hands, if you pull them away from him. Oh boy. Prepare for the rebooting process. May or may not take longer than 5 minutes. Would probably wash the mark off, y’know because of his parents and all.

Would have a more controlled reaction. She would be flustered but wouldn’t show it as much as Miles would. She’d probably get a little red on the ears and on the cheeks but other than that she’d be ok. She might stumble over her words a bit and look away as to hide some embarrassment. Would definitely tell Hobie about what happened and talk about how life is going. Bonus points if you use her own lip stick. Would probably wash the mark off so her dad doesn’t know.

I feel like he’d get slightly flustered by it but not so much so to where he would stumble over words. Almost like Gwen. He would pull you in and give you kisses in return too. Whether it be on the forehead, the lips, or anywhere else expect a kiss in return. Would probably tell you to do it again. After a few minutes of sitting on the couch and exchanging little pecks I imagine it would turn into a little movie night with just sitting there and exchanging kiss while the movie plays. Might get distracted when the movie gets good though. Would probably forget about the mark and just leave it there.

Would enjoy it. Hands down. Would let you do it. Depending on where you kissed him he would have different reactions. So like on the forehead or cheek, the more sweet areas I feel like he’d kiss you back in the same place. If you did it on the lips, depending on the time and place, it could potentially turn into a little make out session. Now, should you do it on the neck you better prepare yourself for when he’s done working. He’d also probably do it back to you as well. I mean he would get his fangs out and bite you, should you wish. He’ll mark you just like you marked him. Depending if the relationship is known or unknown to others depends if he’ll keep the mark there. If the relationship known he’ll keep the mark there until he showers (if even takes a break from his work). If the relationship is unknown he’ll try to keep it there as long as possible but if he’s gotta go that lipstick stain is coming off.

Would probably get real giddy and happy about it. Cause you know like after he got turned into the spot he’d get turned down by a lot of people cause they mean so it would make him happy to know he’s still loved and not considered a monster in one persons eyes. Anyways, he’d be really happy and would make sure to keep the mark on there just in case he runs into the Spider-Man’s so he can show that he’s loved by someone. Would probably look at Miles and flaunt it. Would make sure the mark stays there. If it rubs off he’ll tell you to kiss him with lip stick on again.

Jessica Drew

Would get a bit embarrassed about it. I feel like she would like it though. Bonus points if you use her lip stick. She’d probably do the same thing though. Just at a different time to catch you off guard and see you get all flustered and embarrassed. She also seems like the type to not just give one kiss but multiple. Kind of like Peter in a sense. If she were to do it back she would do it multiple times in multiple different areas. Would probably keep the mark there for as long as she could.

Would be almost as flustered as Miles but be able to handle said flusteredness better. He’d blush and maybe stutter slightly but he’d be able to cope. Would probably also grab a drink of chai so to calm himself down. He would also definitely get romantic when you do kiss him. He’d probably kiss you back too. Definitely get expect everyone to know. Gwen, Miles, Hobie, Peter, Jess, Miguel even. Everyone is gonna know. Would probably keep the mark there for most of the day too.

He would not get flustered either, he’d be surprised but not flustered. I’ve the feeling he’d tell you to do it again and again until his face is peppered in lip stick marks. Would definitely leave the lip stick marks there. May or may not avoid taking a shower just so they stay on longer.

Keith and Lance go undercover (sort of) at General Iverson's gala to steal back an Altean artifact the general stole while treasure-hunting. Keith's job? Sneaking away in the middle of the party to find the artifact. Lance's job? Looking pretty in a dress.

love love LOVE adventure fics this shit ROCKS. voltron?? thief archeologists whose main goal is to steal artefacts from rich asshole collectors and return them to where they came from?? iconique!! klance playing the pretty distrction?? iconique moreso!!

And granted, Keith has always been a sore spot for him in this way; Lance has always felt at odds with his domesticated temperament, and Keith holds absolutely none of that. Keith doesn't give two whopping shits about getting pimples, or if Stacy in English class thinks he has bad breath. Keith isn't standing zombie-eyed in the purple lights of a party, plotting woe-is-me narratives of his own melancholia and loneliness, gazing detachedly into a red Solo cup full of jungle juice - he just is, and that's always made Lance, in equal parts, devastatingly embarrassed and devastatingly horny.

Sadly, this scale weights significantly more towards the horny end as of late, because Keith is developing quite a few, very distinctly Galra characteristics, and it's driving Lance absolutely buck fucking nuts.
