However, major media outlets did not report on the demonstrations, and questions have been raised about NHK's response in particular.

Only TV Tokyo was reporting on this demonstration, and on social media there were no voices saying, "I want to pay my reception fee to TV Tokyo, not NHK." The demonstrations are showing signs of spreading across the country, and there are voices saying that they should be held in Hokkaido and Kyushu next.
