Hi! I've watched Mawaru penguindrum, anohana and Tonari no kaibutsu-kun! Do you have any others to recommend? :p I trust your tastes! ^^

1. Hyoukaa bunch of mystery-solving kids who can all but solve the mystery of the relationships going on between themselves; wonderful characters and development, solid and pretty animation, and you can really see the depth and thought put into the storylines and the references they make are delicious. It looks superficially pretty but in the end really proved itself, especially in the second half. 2. Kuragehimeantisocial geeky girls with crazy obsessions, and the flamboyant and sassy boy that barges into their lives, what's not to like?3. Angel Beats and/or Clannadsame tearjerker element that made ano hana so good, the characters are not as strong as ano hana's but they are still pretty good4. Arakawa Under the BridgeThis is SHAFT at it's best imo, I love the perfect blend of gut-busting comedy, awkward romance and introspective look of life that one wouldn't expect from such a wacky show. it gets pretty deep and moving sometiemes. 

5. ChihayafuruIf you're looking for more sport!anime, and don't mind slow starts, Chihayafuru builds up very well to an amazing payoff. Not much romance here since it's mainly focused on the sport. It's interesting how they animate and tell a story of an individual sport like karuta though. The beginning episodes are also the best. And the second season is coming anyway, so why not watch it now and join in on the rest of the fandom as it buckles down for s2!

6. Natsume YuujinchouThis anime has 4 seasons thus far and it's because of a stunning lead who goes through so much development, as well as the sleepy, understated, but heartwarming stories that are told each episode. This show is great because there is no big main plot, but it's made up of episodic mini-plots that always manage to move you. You'll feel so warm and content after watching this.   

7. Sakamichi no ApollonJazz and bromance and really nice teenage relationships all around. 8. Toradora!I put this last because if you haven't watched Toradora! you need to right now you deprived person
