Marс chuckled. The difference between Gaia and Khonshu was huge. Khonshu kept his avatars like slaves, giving them tasks that always involved death. Mark felt a little sorry for the poor new guy who would be the next dead pigeon avatar.

“Doesn’t Gaia happen to need new servants? I don’t mind serving her on such generous terms.”

He joked. If there were gods who valued their servants and didn't force them to do something terrible, he wouldn't mind serving them. He missed the armor a bit and the super powers it gave him. Especially regeneration.

Marc was a little surprised when she hugged him, but when Thera wished him a happy birthday, he felt a warmth in his chest. He hadn't celebrated birthdays in a long time, but now everything has changed for the better and celebrating a birthday with Thera would be nice.

Steven hugged Thera tighter. It was his first real birthday and he was looking forward to it.
