Why do ppl bother with all these riddles like pro paraphilia

What I care about is do you interact with pedos / maps

Most pro ships I see like graphic child stuff is that correct ??

Pro paraphilias are about anti-contact and pro-recovery. Not all pedophiles are child predators. I don't like Maps or Aaps since they tend to actually glorify and normalize actually being attracted to children, what pro para is about is pro-recovery, pro-therapy, and anti-contact. If paraphilias get ignored that causes more problems for the person and possible victims in the future. To say "all pedophiles should die" only makes innocent people who haven't done anything hate themselves and not look for help. When people with paras don't look for help, they will get worse, and either hurt themselves, or hurt someone/thing else.

Proship is anti harassment and anti censorship. What you're seeing is darkships. There are proshippers who are disgusted by and/or hate darkships, there are proshippers who are dark shippers. It just depends. Proship is not problematic shipping, that's dark/com shipping. Proship is just "Pro Ship" like pro choice or pro whatever. It just means you're FOR something, not AGAINST it.

If people are using the terms wrong then they aren't what they say they are. If a "proshipper" harasses someone, that's not a proshipper, that's an asshole.

These aren't riddles, it's just that antis and the users of the terms themselves constantly contradict themselves and misuse the terms to high heaven.

Everytime we see someone on some social media (ahem, Twitter) telling a proshipper to kill themselves, we want to just scream. We've had to stop ourselves from making a tweet saying "Stop confusing proshipping with com/dark shipping" but we KNOW our Twitter mutuals would get so mad.

You are looking at biased sources. You are not taking the time to talk to actual proshippers to know what the term actually means.

Proshipping, means "For Shipping" and against harassment. That's all proshipping means. The "Pro" in proshipping does not mean problematic, it means pro as in "for something", like how con is " for against something". Did we all forget that we made those pros and cons charts in school?

Antis will never not get com/dark shipping confused with proshipping, and it's so ironically incredible to watch them stick their head in that echo chamber and ignore when we try to explain they refer to the wrong term and the right terms. Antis basically act in the same way that M4G4 and Fl4t-E4rthers do, ignoring everything if it doesn't fit their world view.

Not all proshippers are com/dark shippers.

Not all com/dark shippers are proshippers.

Proshippers can literally dislike shipping problematic stuff. They can literally hate shipping those bad things like pedophilia, rape, etc.

The reason why proshippers are so kind to others and welcoming, is because that's the entire fucking basis of their ideology. If a proshipper harasses you or insults you, then guess what, that's not a proshipper. That's a person misusing the term.

If you really feel the need to tell a proshipper or comshipper or darkshipper that what they're doing is wrong in your eyes, then actually take the time to talk with them. Do not insult them. Do not threaten them. Do not wish death apon them. When you insult and attack them, you aren't doing anything for either side, you make everything worse.

Also, stop mixing up pedophilia with child predators.

Pedophilia, is someone who loves children. This is a MENTAL ILLNESS.

Child Predator, while is most likely a pedophile, actually harms children. THIS IS A CRIME.

Pedophilia is a mental illness that must be treated, that's why the terms "Pro-Recovery", "Pro-Therapy", "Anti-Contact" exist, because these people need that help, they know it's wrong to think and feel that way.

Pedophiles aren't inherently child predators. Like how people with BPD aren't inherently abusers, psychopaths aren't inherently killers, etc.

Anti's mighty as well start calling proshippers Child Predators. Though, we personally are against accusing people of heinous crimes with no evidence.
